Right BeatlePaul, in my version, a hand by Paul's face is missing!! A crop of the face from both to make it easier to see more "artistry" http://*banned link*/Shoebox/TrueStory/TrueStory1cropped.jpg[/img] http://*banned link*/Shoebox/TrueStory/truestory123cropped.JPG[/img] Different shadows, and in my version it hints at a detatched earlobe rather than an attached one. They aren't real obvious about it, but...

This list has a chronological mean too. The Beatles and James Paul McCartney with his ORIGINAL cleft chin in Milan.

Also, in the original photo George is in the background. You can see, by comparison, that Paul does not look taller than George. By removing George in the background, they hoped to accentuate the difference between Paul & Ritchie's height. The reason Paul looks so much taller than Ritchie in both photos is because of the angle the shot was taken at. Still, in the doctored version Paul looks taller than Ritchie than in the original photo. I just looked at it again. It appears to me that they digitally enlarged Paul in the reissue. They made him a larger man, so that he'd better resemble Faul. That is beyond insidiousness !

This may make for a better comparison. A full-color scan, like JoJo's appears to be. (Time is nature's sepia.)

I have not yet seen anyone talk about the person Billy Shepherd who wrote for the Beatles Monthly Book from august 1963 until september 1968. After a while the monthly column by Billy Shepherd ( in the beginning together with Johnny Dean) was called "Behind The Spotlight: 2 years ago" and it gave a detailed diary of The Beatles' whereabouts exactly 2 years before the month in which the magazine came out. It's funny that his last writing was in the september 68 issue which dealt with september 1966. He talks about the Yellow Submarine 66 single release, while a few pages later there is a review of the Yellow Submarine movie premiere.(2(0) years ago today uh?!) According to the details in his story he was someone very close to the group. Who was this guy and why hasn't someone else brought him up already? I've only seen mention here about the book he wrote about the Beatles.

Well next tuesday I will get my first ever scanner, but knowing my technical abilities it will maybe take 1 or 2 weeks to figure it out. I don't own all issues but conveniently enough 66-67 is mostly complete. So far I've only read the last Bill article (from sep 68 talking about sep 66), that one is full of allusions and Doubletalk, I will type that one up in the next few days, I am willing to type 1, the rest has to wait for the scanner. And I started to read them from the beginning with talk about 63 and 64, there's not much clues in those early ones except for one Big thing: this Billy Shepherd figure was very close to the band, he was always there, it gives me the feeling it could be Epstein,Mal,Neil Aspinall or even a Beatle under a pseudonym. Does anyone have a list of the people who were in the period 63-66 close to the Beatles almost day and night? It has so much detail and also the style suggest that this Shepherd was around the band ALL THE TIME in those days. But isn't that what shepherds are for? ;D
