Besame Mucho This song is a perfect example of James Paul's amazing vocal prowess. This is the real mccartney "Elvis” voice. I've heard James Paul's voice described as naive or natural. In Besame mucho he has very precise vibrato. He sounded better than the real Elvis! His delivery of the songs title reminds me of his approach when he tackled French in Michelle. His low notes are breathtaking so much energy! ;D And this is a live take!! ; The King is naked.

Just wanted to agree with you 100 percent about James Paul's singing voice.
Faul and his band of vocal impostors throughout the years never were able to duplicate his deep, rich voice.
Once The Beatles' popularity reached it's height, someone realized this amount of control couldn't be wasted on something as inconsequential as artistic expression or pop music.
There are probably all types of mind-control, behavior modification experiements going on in the music we'll never be able to understand.
When it's all said and done, matter is energy.
When you break a molecule down to its smallest unit, it becomes light and sound.
That's what we really are. Our essence is light and music. That's what we'll be again one day! And it won't be a bad day (unless you are a badwrongfalsepaul)!

I agree Paul is amazing singing that song. Did you ever here Faul doing a little bit of that song on Let It Be? he sings it in a high sort of "affected" voice, trying to put on a fake Spanish accent.

I do love Paul's version of that song...and now it's made me mad enough to start raging against those who have fought to keep his real death a secret for the sake of money. I want to buy an investigation...we need money for that. When can we start?

As soon as you give us the money. I live less than 100 miles from the Mull of Kintyre farm. I'll stake it out for, say, £1000? Aything over that, I'll want serious money!

No! Give ME the money!! I'll hire someone to get his DNA.
I had a Besame Mucho earworm for 2 weeks. Not complaining, mind you.

Palin, if you're telling the truth about your location and want to head up something...I'll find a way to get this done. I want a real investigator and someone who can get the items we need...birth cert's are NOT what we need...DEATH cert's ARE what we need and a location of a burial site or an urn on somebody's mantle piece. Dig? OK...Palin, you're on...

be careful gracemer, that JP earworm is reoccurring. ;D Also equally excellent is JP's September in the rain recorded at probably the same session. his vocal timbre in the song is the same as Besa me mucho. I'm not actually sure of the recording date/location. It may be be recorded around or during their Decca audition. As much as i love to listen to his vocals on earlier recording's I think later(64-66) his voice settled and matured. what genius James Paul Mccartney was the most powerful musical force of the 20th century, possibly ever ,considering the 20th century’s burgeoning communication technology

In both Besame Mucho and September in the Rain you can hear the beautiful range and timbre in JPM's voice. It's something that Bill has never had and never will. Which he demonstrates by his sorry attempt at the song in Let It Be and also his really sickening rendiditon of "Yesderday" for the Grammy's. That made me what to lose my dinner!!!!
JP was so very, very talented in his voice, his composing/songwriting, and musical accomplishments. No one can really replace the man and I'm surprised that so many are unable to note the differences in musical style, let alone the physical changes.

I got September in the Rain from WinMx. You can download songs legally and it really doesn't cost a single dime. I would say Besame Mucho could be gotten there also.
I also use LimeWire, but that cost $24.99 a year to download. But you can get all the songs you want. I got a copy of the first 14 of the Beatle cartoons.
Good luck, PB

One important point to remember about obtaining Besa me mucho is that there are several versions. Avoid the bootleg from let it be the movie. The anthology has a version and its unimpressive compared to the version i have. Anthology's version is probably the same studio session but a different take. The main difference between the two early Besa me Mucho's is energy level and passion. search for that copy of the song, you'll know it when you hear it. ;D

Its amazing how much JPM's work has been suppressed People forget that he was the modest band leader. He was the conductor and the metronome of the rhythm. It was Paul who's humor and wit rode them throgh all the press conferences.go find the old footage! watch how lennon looks at paul with loving admiration. the more you find about his true body of work(and life) the more he'll amaze you.

It's interesting to listen to both versions, I mean the Anthology version and the LIB version. There's also another version from the Decca auditions yes. It's different somewhat, but what's really different is the LIB version.
Anthology version: http://*banned link*/Shoebox/Bessamemucho/EarlyBesaameMucho.mp3
LIB version, capped from the movie: http://*banned link*/Shoebox/Bessamemucho/LetItBeBessame.mp3

He's really disguising his voice on the LIB version knowing it won't stand comparison. Absolute goofball merde. Thanks for the post JoJo.
