With today being the 25th anniversary I want to open a new section here for talking about John's death. There are already other threads about this on other forum sections and I'll be moving them into this category when I see them. John....we miss you...

If I can bring to your attention a little spelling correction: It is spelt "Assassination" NOT "Assasination". Please correct board title, thank you.

if john had lived into his 60's do you think he would have just come out and admitted, finally, the whole truth about paul's death and replacement?
i don't. i think he could care less about telling anyone.
then again, maybe i'm wrong. if you think i am, tell me WHEN you think he'd have revealed the replacement. it sure as heck wasn't going to be in 1980.

John would have done it if he survived faul, or he would have accidentally slipped up, some have said that he slipped up when he mentioned the Beatles and LCD being used to control the masses in the Playboy interview. If he was going to keep alluding to it in song, he was gonna eventually say too much. Double Fantasy is the most revealing to me.
Faul: My heart is like a wheel Let me roll it
John: I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round, I really love to watch them roll, No longer riding on the merry-go-round, I just had to let it go, People asking questions lost in confusion, Well I tell them there's no problem, Only solutions, Well they shake their heads and they look at me as if I've lost my mind, I tell them there's no hurry... I'm just sitting here doing time
"Let Me Roll It" is the fifth track on the Paul McCartney & Wings album Band on the Run. Though never released as a single, it is considered by many to be one of the most memorable tracks on the album, often being a part of Paul McCartney's performance when he tours. This song is generally acknowledged to be an imitation of John Lennon's Plastic Ono Band music style, in response to and with a song structure very similar to "How Do You Sleep?", Lennon's song aimed at McCartney in retaliation for the songs on Ram, many of which he believed were aimed at him.
"Let Me Roll It" is however perceived as a peacemaking attempt, as it is a rather friendly parody/imitation and the lyrics does not contain any malicious attacks. The war in music and the press between Lennon and McCartney stopped after the song's release. This lends plausibility to the claims saying that Lennon actually liked this spoof on his own style.
