well, the drums arent THAT hard to play. i mean, i played the drums when i couldnt play the violin, and i was pretty good. it takes a lot to be REALLY good, but basically its just hitting things with a bit of talent.

He wrote with Steve Miller again in the nineties on the Flaming Pie album. What does Steve Miller know? You mean that Steve Miller wrote and Faul took. He must know about Faul. Paid to do this album?

Just looking at that picture of Faul playing the drums is enough to convince anyone that this man is not Paul! His face is completely different!

I can refute the pre-1968 idea with some choice words from Mike McCartney as best as I can remember them.
He said that in the early sixties, before Ringo and before Pete Best, the Beatles were in need of a drummer many times. Paul somehow obtained a drum kit for Mike with the intention of helping him learn to play so he could drum for the lads. Unfortunately, Pete Best joined the group right after and Paul learned to play drums competently well himself on Mike's kit, even though it wasn't really Mike's now that Paul was using it.

i was basically talking about paul being on drums pre 68 on a record....we all know the famous pic of him sitting at a drum kit circa 61 all dressed in leather...

Oh, well, in that case, t'would appear that pre-'68, Paul only played drums a few times because Ringo was always there. A great place to check these things is www.discographynet.com.

Once again another pic with his mouth hanging open. I believe someone on the forum said this was to hide a scar on his lip, which shown when he closed his mouth.
