For starters, your first image needs re-hosting. With that out of the way: You are going to get 2 answers for that question here. The first answer is photo manipulation. The second answer is that they used surgery to recreate the scar. Sorry for the short answers, I havent slept in a day or so.

Why Faul has got the same Lips-scar (on the overlip) like Paul (Paul has got an accident with his mopped)? For starters, your first image needs re-hosting. With that out of the way: You are going to get 2 answers for that question here. The first answer is photo manipulation. The second answer is that they used surgery to recreate the scar. Sorry for the short answers, I havent slept in a day or so. guitarjon123 is right. 1- Photo doctoring : On the right a GENUINE image of Faul at those times. 2- Make-up and plastic surgery : 1966 Paul's lip scar was NOT SO BAD as 1968 "White Album" Faul's one 3- The job for a double consists to be as more similar as possible to the "original model" 4- missbeat: Welcome

Thanks @ll ;D This is cheat! After I found out that PID, i was very sad and angry. I told it my mother (she is a Beatles Fan since 1964) and she was amazing. But now, we're relieved and search (really) Paul Pictures and go into ratures. He was so sweet, charming, shy and talented. I don't understand, why he had to die?

The scar was also misplaced a bit. (Strawberry Fields Forever video, again) Edit: Also notice the hairs at the place where Paul couldn't have hair on his chin.

Instead "airbrushed" "prostheses attach". Good analysis. And ...what about the funny lower lip left side? Paul's lip scar was more central. Yes, the make-up was micrometric but not perfect at all... Look at Faul's mouth right side too! So funny!!!! And MAINLY Faul's TRUE scar was on his lower lip boundary...

Yep agree, agree, agree, paul seemed to be very charming and unfazed by being a megastar (he remained down to earth and like a normal human being!) yet faul, although i don't really mind him, often seems like a prima donna and is generally a bit smarmy!
Yes BP, why does his lip go straight and stop short of where it should be?
Miss beat, from what you have said, my parents seem to be of the same generation, yet although they agree PID is interesting and may have some truth, they still think it's all a bit of a joke (they're living with eyes closed of course), how did you manage to convince your mother?

This is something I would also like to know missbeat. I haven't quite told my parents about this whole PID thing because I'm afraid they'll laugh at me. I will soon, I know that. But it would be nice to get some advice from someone who has done it and succeeded!

I understand you helterskelter. My father laught at me, after I talk about Pauls dead. He don't believe me But my mother take a look this page and found out the truth. I must say, that my father isn't a Beatles Fan, he's not interested. I think it's doesn't matter to him. My mother has a crush on Paul, like me ;D
