A fine job, indeed. The real test comes once the music starts. The cover clues leave no doubt as to "who" is plucking the strings. Apollo also was quoted as mentioning a "familiar beast" in the upper corners. I'd say that's a ram perhaps? I guess he was talking about the crickets at the beginning of the first Klaatu song not the crickets in "Sun King", although it may be interesting to see if they are the same, I don't think so though. Backwards the crickets sound like..crickets.. But ok, missing something I guess, maybe.. An interesting page about Alfred Beech and the secret subway he built under the streets of NYC: kempa.com/blog/archives/000696.htmlThe chorus to Sub Rosa Subway has a real catchy refrain, "To brahmsian tunes", repeated over the Morse code underneath. The above link says: The goldfish fountains and Brahmsian tunes referenced in the final chorus actually existed - Beach had lavishly furnished the terminal of his subway, even including a player piano.Don't know where this leads exactly, but I'll forge ahead here... About Brahms: library.thinkquest.org/22673/brahms.htmlBut it is the essential accessibility of Brahms's music that has firmly placed him in the canon of great composers. He was a true man of the people, utilising popular folk melodies and gypsy tunes. His music is about love, suffused with a melancholy romanticism that is totally unique.Oh and a strange link, Googling "Brahmsian Tunes" brings up this: www.sat-net.com/listserver/sat-nd/msg00250.html Seems an odd thing to tag to the "satellite news", web weirdness, gotta love it.. And finally, and I have no idea what I'm doing with the wand tool in Photoshop, but I made the sun guy look a little more..like a face? Anyone who knows what they're doing want to take a crack at it? Or am I needlessly embarrassing myself, lol. http://*banned link*/Shoebox/Klaatu%20scans/KlaatuSunGuy.jpg[/img]

Klaatu to reunite for `World Contact Day` 2005 #1700 Apr 11, 2005 by Mike Kovacich Updated: Apr 15, 2005 05:17 PM "Back in college (late 70's) I did an english paper on Klaatu and the rumors, connections to the Beatles. That unfortunately got destroyed in a flood some years back but I still have some material I collected. For example when Paul McCartney and Wings played at Maple Leaf Gardens on May 9th, 1976 there was a Klaatu connection. I didn't notice at the time because I wasn't very close to the stage but a friend of mine was up fairly close and in those days you could bring cameras into concerts. He gave me his pictures and months later when I got the Klaatu debut album and the rumors were afloat of some Beatle connection, I realized that there appears to be a yellow sun with a purple background, about 5 " in diameter on the Marshall cabinet just left of the drum kit. There are several shots of Paul with his blonde Rickenbacker and Denny Laine with his double necked guitar with the logo in plain view. Now I suppose it could be a yellow daisy as the pictures aren't perfectly clear but seem to see a sun with a smiley face. Add that to the fact that I haven't seen any evidence of this logo on this cabinet at any other concert during that tour. I figured since Klaatu was Toronto based, I was convinced some roadie must have did it. Or was there a Paul - Klaatu connection deeper than we all think No, I won't go there. Ok, I will just for a minute. The rumors spread fast after a mysterious master tape appeared on the desk of a Capitol Records executive. Was this Paul McCartney and John Lennon secretly reuniting by contributing songs composed by them both ? The voices had no hints of McCartney or Lennon but the music was definately Bealte sounding. "

I havent heard any Klaatu as far as im aware, but id love to hear some clips to prove how beatle like they really sound.
Im amazed to see that on amazon, that people who bought Klaatu also bought stuff by Ringo, George, Badfinger, The beatles, Paul McCartney maybe some sub concious similarities there.
Sorry if you've already mentioned this but its late, does anyone think 3 47 EST means anything?
