Was wondering if anyone could help me on this:
I'm currently in the middle of making a compilation tape for a friend who doesn't know much about the beatles or many of their songs. Therefore i offered to make a CD for him to listen to to get an idea. I've focused on later work and psychedelia but i'd like all of your opinions on the song choices and the running order. Many thanks, and any thing you think i've missed out or should go in a different order just say!
I am The Walrus I'm only sleeping Taxman Glass Onion Being for the benefit of Mr. Kite She said She said And your bird can sing Lucy in the sky with diamonds Sexy Sadie Norwegian wood While my guitar gently weeps Everybody's got something to hide except for me and my monkey A Day in the life Baby you're a rich man Penny lane hey bulldog get back Across the universe here comes the sun.
I may switch around the last wo songs, not sure.
Well, any suggestions?

If I'd make a cd for a friend to show him/her how good the Beatles were, I'd give him this:
01. Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds 02. Revolution 03. Magical Mystery Tour 04. A Hard Day's Night 05. Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da 06. Helter Skelter 07. Taxman 08. Get Back 09. Hey Jude 10. I Should Have Known Better 11. And Your Bird Can Sing 12. I Am The Walrus 13. Baby, You're A Rich Man 14. Back In The USSR 15. Lady Madonna 16. The Fool On The Hill 17. I've Got A Feeling 18. Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown) 19. Let It Be 20. A Day In The Life 21. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band 22. Come Together
Total of 74:49 minutes...

i like your playlist but perhaps you could add some genuine jp tracks. the only jp bit is in "a day in the life". might i suggest "she's leaving home", "here, there and everywhere", "kansas city", "got to get you into my life" and "day tripper"?
