very interesting....I need to note, however, that whoever wrote this was confused on some details. KLUE radio station was not in South Carolina (radio stations in the Eastern USA have call letters that begin with "W". Western USA stations have call letters that begin with "K".) KLUE was in Texas.

This timeline is innacurate. It states that November 9th 1966 was the day that Paul had his motorcycle accident and cut his lip, and that this is supposedly where the November 9th Paul is Dead rumors started, when we all know Paul cut his lip and chipped his tooth on his motorcycle in 1965, as it is visible in the Rain and Paperback Writer videos.
Notice also what it says about Paul's supposed accident on this day:
"Apparently he'd been smoking pot all day with TARA BROWNE."
Now that's what I'd call a coincidence. And ofcourse Tara Browne died on December 18 in the car crash described in "A Day In The Life".

I have that book 'The Complete Beatles Chronicles' and can surely say that what I read on the website is more detailed than what is in the book. Where did that info come from? It appears to be a compilation of different sources.

BTW: In that book it says that the Beatles didn't do a Christmas show in '66. I think it was mentioned that they did. Kind of forget though. Perhaps someone will correct me.

That timeline really needs some cites... it's useless as is.
John's trip to Paris may be a cover for when he returned to London a week after 11 September when Paul disappeared.
And perhaps George went back to London between his meeting the Ravi and then going to Bombay.

For the record, the moped incident was on 26th December 1965.
It appears that entry for Sept 16 is trying to say that Paul and Brian were in Paris, thus explaining away their absence.
Now, from I Am The Walrus which is about the discovery of Paul's corpse:
Semolina pilchard, climbing up the Eiffel Tower.
Elementary penguin singing Hari Krishna.
John was in Paris and George was in India when the call came through that Paul's body had been found.

i was reminded of what 60IF said about john blowing up in anger, at some insensitive policeman when paul's body was discovered.

Row (pretty little police men in a row) and Row (Having a row) are pronounced completely differently, when having an arguement Row is said with an a, "raow", where as a row of people is said without the a, "r-oh". John pronounces it right, policemen in a row. By the way I am English!  Space |

just another 2 cents from me here:
i don't know as much as i'd like to about I AM THE WALRUS but now that i've come to know this SITE a bit, i think of it as a kind of purgitive for john.
like he was rerunning something through his mind, that disturbed him, and to which he applied his muse to the task of "dealing with".
for him to say "i'm crying" is a pretty stark confession, along the lines of admitting he slapped around his wife. i sense john was doing some emotional housecleaning around this time...
