Ok, this my last attempt to make any sense out of all of this. I will compare and quote the 60IF document with another Paul is dead website (http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/3674/pid.html) and question the rest.
Alot of questions have to deal with who wrote this document. Keep in mind that someone would most likely not talk about themselves in 3rd person.
1. 36 Years Ago.
Sunday 11th September 1966, Evening and Paul were returning from their trip in good spirits. It had been a wonderful time.
(Where did they go on this trip? Who knows they had a wonderful time on their trip and how? The person writing this would have had to have been with them on the trip or talked to them right before the "incident". We can assume that they are back in England since later on The Beatles visit the police station.)
2. After John's notorious phrase which had instigated the storm in the world against the Beatles and the turmoil over the "butcher album" cover, everything seemed to have returned back to a normal routine.
(The other PID websites list that Paul had already been dead before the butcher album.) This is what the fore mentioned website said:
"The bloody meat and assorted baby doll parts represent the horrible nature of the car accident.
Notice the set of teeth of Paul's right arm. They signify that Paul's teeth were knocked out in the car crash. This rendered dental records unavailable as a means for identifying the body.
George is holding the head of a baby doll next to Paul's head, to signify that Paul was decapitated in the accident. "
(Then they go on to claim that the songs 'YESTERDAY', 'DR. ROBERT', 'NOWHERE MAN', 'AND YOUR BIRD CAN SING' all have clues about Paul's death.)
3. And Paul had had a sudden burst of extraordinary creativity over a very short period of time, perhaps as a reaction to all that had happened.
(What, Paul had a sudden burst of creativity during the trip? Right when they got back on Sunday, Sept. 11th? Again, how did this person know this?)
4. It had been a typically seasonal rainy day.
(Wait, I thought this had started in the evening. Why are you telling us about the day? Road conditions maybe? This also leads us to assume that the accident happened during the day.)
5. At a semaphore stop a van suddenly cut across the street, blocking the car and Paul were in.
The car didn't quite stop in time and hit the van, but not seriously enough to do any real damage.
(Now the original story that I believe the radio DJ started and also that the other website lists claims that Paul died in a car accident.) Here's another quote:
"The story states that Paul McCartney was involved in a car accident. Apparently "he hadn't noticed that the lights had changed." The accident occurred at 5 a.m. on a Wednesday morning. Cause of death was massive head trauma. So severe were his wounds that dental records were useless for identifying the body."
6. They expected to discuss what had happened with the occupants of the other vehicle but instead men dressed in black appeared from the van and grabbed, Paul and one of the girls who happened to be with them at the time and forced them into another car that had turned up in the meantime.
The second girl who was with them, however, had the presence of mind to run away.
(Ok, so the 2nd girl was able to react quickly enough and get away. Who is she? Where is she now? I'm assuming we can eliminate this girl from being the writer.)
7. The morning afterwards, not knowing what had happened, we tried to call and Paul but strangely we couldn't get hold of them.
We retraced their steps through our common friends but nobody had seen or heard from them.
We were on the telephone all day.
(So, who is "we"? The Beatles? These paragraphs lead the the reader to assume that whom ever is writing this was either in The Beatles, or extremely close to them. Also we see that it is now Monday.)
8. And then the next day the police phoned to tell us that they had a girl with them confirming that and Paul had been kidnapped.
Ringo was the first one to arrive where the kidnapping had taken place; the vehicles were empty.
The girl told us what had happened.
We began to panic.
(So on Tuesday, the police telephoned the remaining Beatles, and once there, they began to panic. They would have had to know that Ringo was the first there. So did the police get a hold of Ringo first? He must have not been with John and George. So we eliminate Ringo from writing this.)
9. John became hysterical and we didn't know what to think or what to do.
(Ok, so we established that John was at the police station with Ringo and eliminate him from writing this)
10. But we were able to suppress the story from the Wednesday newspapers thanks to some acquaintances of ours.
(Makes sense. The next day would be Wednesday.)
We had directly contacted the intelligence service who understood the gravity of the situation and the social ramifications if word got out.
They told us that they would take care of everything.
All we had to do was to continue our daily routine and keep all our previously appointed business engagements.
(This makes us believe that The Beatles, were previously in contact with some intelligence service. For what or why would they need that? And if this is true, then that would have meant that they hatched up a plot sometime after the police station and before the next day without talking over it much. I personally think they would want to talk about such a huge replacement instead of just jumping to do it.)
We waited for the kidnappers to contact us, a ransom demand of some sort.
Time passed and nothing happened.
As more days passed, our apprehension grew.
11. It was the Tuesday of the following week when we received the call, but not the one we had been waiting for. We were called out in order to identify Paul's body.
(So a week went by since they heard about the kidnapping and went to the police station.)
At the time John was in Paris and George was in India. They immediately returned home. Paul was found at the foot of a hill, a little distance from a white Volkswagen.
(You're telling me that John and George went off to different countries not even a week since their best friend has been kidnapped?!? Also, Ringo must have been the only one back in England and the first to hear about it again. How did Ringo or the police contact John and George and find out how to get a hold of them? Did John and George hop to it and buy the first flight back from Paris and India and got back the same day? -Below this I will show a quote concerning George in India.- This is where it really gets interesting. Since this is describing George, we can assume that George is not the writer. So now we've eliminated ALL Beatles from being the writer of this. Hmmm. So who could have written this? If you look back, all the statements are made from a personal point of view. The person had to have been there to know specific details about scenario settings, moods, places and dates.)
Quoted from http://www.beatles-discography.com:
"September 14th: George cut off all his hair and grew a moustache, and flew to India to Study the sitar with Ravi Shankar." -skipping a few sentences- "The following month-and-a-half was a real eye-opener for George, and he begun a life-long fascination with Indian religion."
(It also lists that George returned later in November and had written "Only A Northern Song" and "Within You Without You" during that time. The 14th would be Wednesday. So George flew to India and day after one of his band mates was found to be kidnapped, flew back to England 6 days later, and then flew back again to India to stay for a month?!?! Again, that doesn't seem right.)
12. He was in a ghastly state.
He had been dead for a while and beasts had begun to eat at him;
his lips looked as if they had been torn by some animal, the left side of his face had also been torn to pieces and the whole of his right ear had been bitten off.
(Again, the person must have witnessed the body to be describing this. And it isn't one of the Beatles unless one of them is talking about themselves in 3rd person)
I am going to stop here and let everyone read and comment on this since this seems like it's going to be a long read. I have the rest of 60IF compared in my head, so if you would like me to continue with the rest of the document, I will. If you think I'm just wasting my time and space, then I'll let it go from here. Any and all comments are welcome, but I tried to stay away from opinions as much as possible.
