If there's already a thread addressing this, then I'm sorry for bringing it up again. I didn't see anything when I searched through the posts, but sometimes I get lazy and miss stuff.
Anyway, I've been wondering about the relationship between The Beatles and the man we call Bill Shepherd. Do you think John, Ringo and George liked the man and accepted him as part of the group, even if it was temporary? Or did they resented him taking on the identity of their close friend? Maybe a bit of both?

Maybe a bit of both? Both. I strongly feel that Billy/Neil was a Ringo's cousin. Aunt Jessie (not the actress but the character) is no one else than Bill's mother named also in "The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill" and in "How Do You Sleep" songs.
