Am I paranoid or Blackbird is a Faul's song about James Paul? I need your opinions friends. PS: Obviously Faul doesn't play the guitar in this song. -TheEggman

...and Faul didn't sing that song. As you can read here: digilander.libero.it/p_truth/audio.html it was the "imitator's imitation masterpiece" Paul_Bearer has the answer about the meaning... -Sun_King I think it was one of Paul's last songs, written (but not performed) by him while over on the American tour, part of the burst of creativity (mentioned at the beginning of 60IF) just before he died. It's about what he saw as the plight or oppression of the Amercian negress at the time (and I'm using a 60s term here). Amazingly I got this truth from watching one of Faul's concerts on TV. Something that Faul actually told the truth about. -Paul_Bearer Yes, you're right. I remember read a Beatles book saying that this song is about the oppresion stuff in America. -TheEggman
