In the booklet that came with the Magical Mystery Tour LP, there is a picture on Page 6 featuring John Lennon in a fake mustache. Next to Lennon, there is a sign that reads: "The Best Way To Go Is By M&D Company". This means 2 different things: 1. "M&D Compay" is the name of a funeral home in London (Referring that John Would Be Dying). 2. The initials of the funeral home "M&D Company" were MDC...The same initials as Lennon's killer later in life Mark David Chapman.... Here's a pictrue: Spooky, eh?

Maybe "M&D" was the funeral home that buried James Paul

Or maybe it was the name of the bus company that they rented the bus from in the film. Just a thought.

I find that guy's fashion sense scarier than "M & D".

this is strange. I was just going to post about Magical Mystery Tour. I'm watching it for the 1st time. All I can say is - GAWD, those people must've been stoned. Anyway, when I researched it, this is what I found : Musical/Performing Arts A typically Beatlesque film (i.e. atypical) originally produced for television, this short film was intended to be an off-the-wall road movie with the Beatles and three dozen or so friends on a psychedelic bus. Shot with only a vague script and only bare outlines of scenes, the movie was meant to document a trip to the seaside resort town of Blackpool, England. Made in September of 1967, The Beatles' brilliant rock album is transformed into colorful and energetic images. The film also contains the only live version of John Lennon's "I Am the Walrus." Third of the Beatles films to include Victor Spinetti, famous for his mohair sweater wearing role as the television director in A Hard Day's Night and as the determined scientist with the laser in Help! The movie was originally shown on BBC TV on December 26, 1967 inexplicably in black and white. MPAA Rating: Not Rated. It was filmed ONE YEAR AFTER PAUL DIED !!! Does anyone know what is the significance of that It is truly Gawdawful... I just want to poke Faul in his hazel/green eyes !!! Love to all... Chris

Strangers on a bus, funny costumes, heavy drug influences, surrealism - what's not to love?

Just a question: Why the premiere of the TV film was in black and white? Maybe to hide some details in any face? Suspicious as always

The film was premiered in black and white in England as we didnt have color tv until 1968.And then only for limited periods and on one channel. This was England for goodness sake.Lets not get too carried away with conspiracies where there is a rational explanation. The films still a breakthrough and a land mark in psychedelia color or no. You should take a look at the fab four in the insert of them in the live section of Yellow Submarine. Now thats weird!Faul still hamming it up big time in self conciousness thats appalling.John just doesnt seem to wanna be there.Who can blame him.

I think Faul acted that way to try to make up for the fact that he WASN'T Paul McCartney. Like he was trying to OUTPAUL Paul... It's just so sad & pathetic, for ALL involved... Love to all... Chris

Or it could be that for once they didn't have a big studio telling them how to act "like themselves"?

also have you noticed that whenever he was asked if he was still alive, he would say something like "oh yes, im alive" but he was just talking about himself, not paul. yeah faul's alive, but nobody cares about that!

Oh Lordy. Come on... If he knows he is Paul and everyone else knows he is Paul, why on earth would it be vital to say, "Yes, I, that is Paul McCartney and not some imposter, am alive"?
It would be totally suspicious if he said something along that order, and he'd be stamping his own ticket to Nowhere Land. Think about it. If the Faul thing was true, it would be an intensely idiotic thing to say. By treating it as some silly little sideshow not deserving of an answer, he downplayed itand kept his cool.

But see, that is according to the Faul/Paul mentality. To the rest of the world, having him say "No I am not dead" is good enough to them, because they don't see a whole undercurrent like you folks do. When they hear that simple statement, it's as good as saying, "I am Paul McCartney and I am still alive and well". They just take it for granted that this IS Paul.

renee, you know me VERY well. and you know that someone asked me if i was alive, i would say "yes, i, krystyna domagala, have been alive since june 21st, 1987, and i will remain alive for quite a while." i would probally even say more than that! its just a way of clarifying.
