Someone needs to look into the albums and videos by George that involve "All Those Years Ago" and "When We Was Fab," his two songs directly about the Beatles period.
I'm downloading the videos now, but I haven't access right now to the actual albums.

Also, I wonder if there are any "interesting" interviews with Donovan (in fact, it was Donovan who taught Paul-Faul his finger-picking pattern) or Mia Farrow - two "famous" people who accompanied the Beatles to India.
Or what about the Maharishi himself? As George's guru and spiritual mentor, he might have had some things to say (willingly or accidentally).

All Those Years Ago----homage to Lennon:
All Those Years Ago - George Harrison
I'm shouting all about love While they treated you like a dog When you were the one who had made it so clear All those years ago
I'm talking all about how to give They don't act with much honesty But you point the way to the truth when you say All you need is love
CHORUS: Living with good and bad I always looked up to you Now we're left cold and sad By someone the devil's best friend Someone who offended all
We're living in a bad dream They've forgotten all about mankind And you were the one they backed up to the wall All those years ago You were the one who imagined it all All those years ago
All those years ago All those years ago
Deep in the darkest night I send out a prayer to you Now in the world of light Where the spirit free of lies And all else that we despised
They've forgotten all about God He's the only reason we exist Yet you were the one that they said was so weird All those years ago You said it all though not many had ears All those years ago You had control of our smiles and our tears All those years ago..
All those years ago All those years ago..

Holy Cow! Check out these lyrics:
When We Was Fab George Harrison (George Harrison, Jeff Lynne)
Back then long time ago when grass was green Woke up in a daze Arrived like stangers in the night Fab - long time ago when we was fab Fab - back when income tax was all we had
Caresses fleeced you in the morning light Casualties at dawn And we did it all Fab - long time ago when we was fab Fab - you are my world you are my only love
And while you're in this world The fuzz gonna come and claim you But you mo better wise When the buzz gonna come and take you away Take you away Take you away
The microscopes that magnified the tears Studied warts and all Still the life flows on and on Fab - long time ago when we was fab Fab - but It's All Over Now Baby Blue Fab - long time ago when we was fab Fab - like this pullover you sent to me
Fab And You've Really Got A Hold Me fab - long time ago when we was fab

How about For You Blue? What if you replaced the word "girl" with "Paul"? Notice how "girl" is always separated by a pause? (comma) Rather than saying for example, "Because you're a sweet and lovely girl..." There could be any reason of course.
Because you're sweet and lovely, girl, I love you Because you're sweet and lovely, girl, it's true I love you more than ever, girl, I do I want you in the morning, girl, I love you I want you at the moment I feel blue I'm living every moment, girl, for you
(Walk, walk cat, walk) (Go, Johnny, go) (Same old tale of blues) (Elmo James got nothin' on this, baby)
Elmo James from what little I could find, was a blues singer. All I can tell is that he seemed to a pretty rough character, not much out there. Were Elmo James' songs so "blue" that Harrison's blues were topping even his? Anyone know more?
I've loved you from the moment, I saw you You looked at me that's all you had to do I feel it now, I hope you feel it too Because you're sweet and lovely, girl, I love you Because you're sweet and lovely, girl, it's true I love you more than ever, girl, I do
It's the last line that makes me wonder...

George harrison an unrecognized genious.
You know why? Because with the "second beatle" FAUL releasing decades of pap, very few would even consider checking out what the "third beatle" was up to.

So Sad (G. Harrison) album: Dark Horse 1974
"Now the winter has come To eclipse out the sun That has lighted my love for sometime And a cold wind now blows Not much tenderness flows From the heart of someone feeling so tired And he feels so alone With no love of his own So sad, so bad, so sad, so bad
While his memory raced With much speed and great haste Through the problems of being there In his heart at arm's length Held within its great strength To ward off such a great despair But he feels so alone With no love of his own So sad, so bad, so sad, so bad
Take the dawn of the day And give it away To someone who can fill the part Of the dream we once held Now it's got to be shelved It's too late to make a new start And he feels so alone With no love of his own So sad, so bad, so sad, so bad"
Get someone who can fill the part of the dream (the Beatles) held, but (George feels) it's too late to make a new start after Paul found dead at dawn?

WRT Jojo's posting of the lyrics of "For You Blue": Who was it that wore blue? Sylvie. This song seems to be about Paul's feelings for Sylvie. "I've loved you from the moment, I saw you You looked at me that's all you had to do" compares to: "Do you believe in a love at first sight? Yes I'm certain that it happens all the time."

This song, "See Yourself," From George's Album Thirty Three And 1/3 is about Paul. According to George's liner notes, the song was about Paul telling the press that he had, indeed taken LSD as had the other Beatles. I have a hard time believing that is what it's about though. George was my favorite post Beatles artist of the four. I know he had deeper meanings in this song than the LSD interview. For example, this line "It's easier to hurt someone and make them cry Than it is to dry their eyes. I got tired of fooling around with other people's lies. Rather i'd find someone that's true" is, in my opinion referring to how Faul would criticize George for how he played his guitar and tell him his songs weren't good enough to be on their albums. George also says he began this song in 1967, but didn't finish it until 1976. I can't help but wonder what his original outline of the song said. I'm sure it had a lot more PID clues.
It's easier to tell a lie than it is to tell the truth It's easier to kill a fly than it is to turn it loose It's easier to criticize somebody else Than to see yourself
It's easier to give a sigh and be like all the rest Who stand around and crucify you while you do your best It's easier to see the books upon the shelf Than to see yourself
It's easier to hurt someone and make them cry Than it is to dry their eyes I got tired of fooling around with other people's lies Rather i'd find someone that's true
It's easier to say you won't than it is to feel you can It's easier to drag your feet than it is to be a man It's easier to look at someone eles's wealth Than to see yourself
Also, I can't listen to "My Sweet Lord" without thinking that George really wanted to say my paul. I mean replace lord with Paul and friend and you get, "My sweet Paul. I really wanna see you. I really wanna be with you. I really wanna see you Paul, but it takes so long my friend, my sweet Paul." I know some might think it weird for him to have referred to him as his sweet Paul. But Paul got George into the Beatles and they very much loved eachother. Nothing gay about it. Then again I know George was unbelievably, perhaps excessively devoted to religion at the time he wrote the song, so I suppose it could be about God, also.
