In the song Glass Onion, John left a slew of clues for us to follow. Some of these clues, like an onion, have layers that can be followed for more clues.
Here is just one example:
I told you about the walrus and me – man.
You know that we’re as close as can be – man.
Well here’s another clue for you all
The walrus was Paul.
He's leaving no doubt about who the walrus was is he.
But let's take a verse from I Am The Walrus and follow it...
Sitting in an English garden waiting for the sun,
If the sun don’t come, you get a tan from
Standing in the English rain.
Ever notice how the song changes for this verse with John sounding distant? Maybe he was trying to draw attention to this verse. Anyways, if Paul really did die then a certain song from Beatles For Sale would have impacted the remaining members for it's chilling message. And John may have been pointing in this direction when he wrote that verse in I Am The Walrus.
The song on Beatles For Sale is I'll Follow The Sun.
Here are the lyrics.
I'll Follow the Sun
One day you’ll look and see I’ve gone,
For tomorrow may rain so I’ll follow the sun.
Some day you’ll know I was the one,
But tomorrow may rain so I’ll follow the sun.
And now the time has come so my love I must go,
And though I lose a friend in the end you will know, oh
One day you’ll look and see I’ve gone,
For tomorrow may rain so I’ll follow the sun.
And now the time has come so my love I must go,
And though I lose a friend in the end you will know, oh
One day you’ll look and see I’ve gone,
For tomorrow may rain so I’ll follow the sun.
That's just one of many layered clues from Glass Onion.
