Hmmm. Could there be another level to this?
I you was.
I was you.
I was (you reading this)
I was (Byrdsmaniac, who is the 'you' when he reads it)
Byrdsmaniac and (you reading this) are me (in the future)
I (Byrdsmaniac) am he as you (reading this) are he
so
I, Byrdsmaniac, am he as you reading this are he, as you reading this are me, Byrdsmaniac
or more simply
I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together!
Where have I heard that before?
In "I Am the Walrus": I (John) am he (the eggman) as you (listening) are he (the eggman) as you are me and we are all together.
The cover of Faul's album "Back to the Egg" shows what the egg is. It's the Earth. "I am the eggman" equates to
"I am an Earthling".
I (John) am he as you (listening) are he as you (listening) are me (John) and we are altogether Earthlings.
We are all Earthlings.
"I am the eggman (John). They are the eggmen (fellow Earthlings)"
"I am the walrus!" says John
"No you're not!" says little Nicola
(John is an eggman, not a walrus.)
Implication: an eggman (an Earthling) is not a walrus (an alien?)
Who was the walrus? "The walrus was Paul"
Paul was a walrus. Was he an alien then?
Look at the cover of "Back To the Egg" by Faul.
Who is Faul pretending to be?
Faul is pretending to be Paul.
What is "Paul" doing in the picture on the "Back To the Egg" album?
He's flying his spaceship over the Earth, which is shown from space in a coffin!
How curious!
"Roll up, roll up for the magical mystery tour, step right this way!"
Roll up, roll up for the mystery tour.
Roll up, roll up for the mystery tour.
Roll up You've GOT AN INVITATION, roll up for the mystery tour.
Roll up TO MAKE A RESERVATION, roll up for the mystery tour.
The magical mystery tour is waiting to take you away,
Waiting to take you away.
Roll up, roll up for the mystery tour.
Roll up, roll up for the mystery tour.
Roll up GOT EVERYTHING YOU NEED, roll up for the mystery tour.
Roll up SATISFACTION GUARANTEED, roll up for the mystery tour.
The magical mystery tour is
hoping to take you away,
Hoping to take you away.
A mystery trip.
The magical mystery tour.
Roll up, roll up for the mystery tour.
Roll up, roll up for the mystery tour.
Roll up GOT AN INVITATION, roll up for the mystery tour.
Roll up TO MAKE A RESERVATION, roll up for the mystery tour.
The magical mystery tour
is coming to take you away,
Coming to take you away; take you away..."
There's more, but wait.
What if this is literal?
Do we have an invitation to make a reservation for a trip here?
A trip that's going to "take you away"?
Away?!
Away from what? God's good green Earth?
God's good green DYING Earth?
rense.com/general69/ebenv.htmThe one that's shown in a casket on the cover of
"Back To the Egg"
Getting back to the lyrics in discussion:
"The magical mystery tour is dying to take you away,
Dying to take you away, take you away."
Woah! That doesn't sound too good!
But wait a minute! Who died?
Not you who are being invited to come on the trip!
Who died? (You know the answer to this!)
Paul died. Paul, the walrus, died.
Paul, the maybe-he-was-an-alien died.
"Standing In The Hall
Of The Great Cathedral
Waiting For The Transport To Come
Starship 21zna9
A Good Friend Of Mine
Studies The Stars
Venus And Mars
Are Alright Tonight.
Come Away On A Strange Vacation
Holiday Hardly Begun
Run Into A Good Friend Of Mine
Sold Me Her* Sign
Reach For The Stars
Venus And Mars are all right tonight"
Those lyrics from Faul's "Venus and Mars"
*Who was Faul's good female friend?
(You know the answer to this!)
Who wanted to 'be' Sylvie Vartan after she died?
Who is shown wearing her dress in the MMT cartoon?
Who was a fool on the hill that THEY don't like?
Who went to Hollywood to become an actress?
OK, that last one was a trick question. ;D
The walrus was Paul. The walrus was Paula.
S/he died and went 'out of the blue and into the black'
She went out of
the water and into space!
But I digress.
"I was lying in a burned out basement
With the full moon in my eyes.
I was hoping for replacement
When the sun burst thru the sky.
There was a band playing in my head
And I felt like getting high.
I was thinking about what a
Friend had said........ [that Paul was dead]
I was hoping it was a lie.
Thinking about what a
Friend had said
I was hoping it was a lie.
Well, I dreamed I saw the silver
Space ships flying
In the yellow haze of the sun,
There were children crying
And colors flying
All around the chosen ones.
All in a dream, all in a dream
The loading had begun.
They were flying Mother Nature's
Silver seed to a new home in the sun.
Flying Mother Nature's
Silver seed to a new home."
From Neil Young's "After the Gold Rush"
Neil was hoping to be replaced. Hmmmm.
Like BB King; like Doris Day dig it dig it dig it
"Come away on a strange vacation"
" Roll up for the magical mystery tour, step right this way!"
"You've got an invitation"
Oh yes, one more thing:
"All you need is love"
So getting back to this: "I You Was"
Paul WAS an Earthling. He was a "walrus" too.
John most likely was "a walrus" as well, as he tells you in the song, but they wanted to make a point.
And I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together.
And no, I am not Paul. But he is who we will be.
In that "new home in the sun", which, strangely enough, will be this one.
And no, I don't mean we'll be the flawed, drug-addled Paul of Earth.
The notion is that we'll be of the same spirit. I do believe that.
That's what the Beatles were all about, imo.
It's why they wanted us to "meet" them.
Did you notice that on that album cover ("Meet the Beatles")
they were illuminated as if they were the moon?
They were illuminated the way planets are.
And the next album was "Something New".
A reference to the saying "There's nothing new under the sun."
But they were "something new" under the sun.
All these stellar and solar references.
Walruses from the start, I do believe.
Cheers.
