I did a slowed down forward and reversal of the ending to the CD of Sgt Peppers. Of course it doesn't have the odd screaming that JoJo's clip has on his site.
What I did was slow it down to 85% of normal speed. I experimented with different speeds, but this one seemed to work the best. The laughter that begins after the high pitch tone sounds like normal laughter at this speed. What sounds like John in the background humming a tune also appears to be normal at the 85% rate.
My first impression concerning who is singing, if you can call it that, is perhaps Faul. It's a very off-key croon. Perhaps recorded before he got some singing lessons.
I've read it's saying, "Never Could See Any Other Way". After slowing it down though, the word "Be" seems to be there instead of "See". The word "Way" is also cut off with a sound clip of somebody saying, "Eh" or "Bleh".
So now it depends on what is actually there. Never Could See Any Other Way would seem to imply to me that The Beatles could see no other way to continue unless they replaced Paul.
If it's a tribute to Paul though, Never Could Be Any Other would imply there never could be another Paul McCartney. If we tie this in with the reversal in the next paragraph, my opinion would be it does say, "Never Could Be Any Other" (Paul McCartney).
The reversal is a bit more difficult. There are 2 words which could be taken for being "Paul". The 1st and the 3rd. I've read it says, "Will Paul Be Back He's Superman". At the faster speed I can hear this.
The slower speed however clearly has a word in front of "Will". It sounds very much like "Paul". The faster version of "Will Paul" sounds like "Will Not" in the slower version. I listened to it numerous times and it really sounds like, "Paul Will Not Be Back, He's Super Man".
Similar to I'm So Tired "Paul Is Dead Man", I think they're saying that Paul is a super guy. Kind of like, hey man, paul is dead man, he's super man. That's the way they used to talk (and some of us still do man) ;D
Anyway, that's my take on it, but I had to slow it down to come to this conclusion.
I'm gonna have to totally disagree with the guy who thinks it says, "Paul Will F*** You Like A Superman". I think he said this kind of freaks him out, or something to that effect. It's ok man, it doesn't say that! ;D

I can't comment on the "be" for "see" sound, but I could see "I never could see any other way" as being a suggestion (possibly subliminal) to take a look at their album pictures and lyrics with a fresh perspective. Listen to the lyrics of "Within You/Without You" and all the double entendres: "They can't seeeeee. Are you one of them?" I see "Never could see any other way" as more of the same.

Later releases not being the same in some regards as the originals. Do you or someone you know have the ability to make a digital copy from a Sgt Pepper's LP of that ending and make an mp3 file suitable for email? I do know that taking an LP and hooking it up to a computer from a stereo, and recording it to mp3 format saves a lot of wear and tear on the LP's, as well as a person's finger trying to spin it backwards

That's a bit esoteric at my stage of PID, but you never know huh? If you're interested in the mp3 of the ending at 85% normal speed, which is what I used ultimately to reach my current observation, you're welcome to it

Nope. It's still "I will love you like a Superman"
There's a reason the "Sunshine Superman" single is pictured spinning on the turntable in the ADITL promo film.
It's so fine. It's sunshine. Love.

Nope. It's still "I will love you like a Superman" Doesn't sound anything like that. "Sunshine Superman" may not be related to it.

It sounds exactly like that.
Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to put down the crack pipe.
It has everything to do with it.
Hope this helps.

I have to admit that when I first listened to the above-linked sample I thought I heard "When will Paul be back...", but that might be because I WANTED to hear the word "Paul"...
I seriously think they are both viable solutions.

Sorry, the nastier wording was on the original LP. I remember turning it backwards on my stereo and hearing the "We'll f*ck you like Supermen".
Regrettably when I got a new, modern stereo that didn't have a record player, I got rid of all my records....yeah, I know, STUPID!!!!!! In fact, one had an autograph from Rick Nelson.......oh, well, hindsight is so much better than foresight.
I wish now I had it and could prove it. But I do know what I heard and was amazed because the Beatles had always been posed as the "nice boys next door" types, not crude like the Stones.
They may well have changed it. Even Bill admitted that he was surprised that that's what it said and he played it and admitted that it did say what I have written! I am not sure which "Paul McCartney" biography this statement was made, but Bill admitted to hearing it.

I definately hear something with 9 parts. Can't quite make it out, but I hear the "F**k you" one and even TotalInformation's one a bit... The SFF however, I can clearly say that I hear "Crrraanberrry Ssaucce" members.lycos.nl/beatlepalooza/SFFSauce.mp3"Crrraanberrry Ssaucce" "Crrraanberrryyy Ssaauucce" "My mother made it for me..." (This take was a remix from take 25 with vocals added from take 7 I believe)

A bit rude I can turn this around and say you thinking that means you need to put down your own crack pipe. We all think it sounds like something else, so let it be. I think it sounds like, "We'll f*ck you like we're supermen," myself.

Thank you, LovelyJulia. That is exactly what they said.
BTW, it is not Cranberry Sauce. Not unless they changed later version, but any I have heard it is clearly "I buried Paul".

I have a demo version of Strawberry Fields Forever. You can hear them playing around with the drums. Then you can hear someone say " I Buried Paul". TWICE.

I think i'm an easy guy (no not in that way ) and i can believe anything people say if they have good enough evidence but one thing i will NOT be swayed on is the "cranberry sauce" phenomena. Anyone who cannot here I BURIED PAUL does need their hearing tested, the proof IMO is that in the recording it sounds very odd so its up for debate, but if modified to be at the tempo that makes it sound like johns normal speaking voice, it is clearly I BURIED PAUL. Beyond question As for the bit at the end of "a day in the life" it definitely says "he's superman", whether it says any of the others is up for debate, i can hear both possibilities if i listen for them But IMO it is not a complete sentence, maybe the first half of it appears somewhere else?

(This take was a remix from take 25 with vocals added from take 7 I believe) That's such a loud version when it comes to the drumming. I took the left channel only, which is the one with John's vocals, and made a mono mix, which plays the left channel only for both channels. I did this to the mix I have as well from the Magical Mystery Tour CD. The MMT mix has only one clear complete sentence, while yours has 2, along with the "my mother made it for me" part which I left in. I can hear "Mother Made It" pretty clear. The 2nd sentence could well say "Cranberry Sauce". I'm not completely sure. The 1st sentence for both still sounds like "I Buried Paul" to me. My clip is a bit shorter and the drums aren't as loud. I have mine played 3 times in succession, then the clip from yours with the 3 sentences. I edited out the music before the sentences begin. www.geocities.com/johnpaul9278/sff_left_side.mp3On a lighter note, that Kiss Kiss Kiss 3 clip you have from Double Fantasy has a neat reversal. I especially like the 2nd part, which sounds like to me, "A Little Sick Sick, Hold Tight". Does Yoko need a hug to help her sick mind? haha! I also think it's eerie to hear the short reversal from clip 2 which sounds like, "I Shot John Lennon". Clip 1 is rather weird. Is that all one song? I've heard worse from Yoko, vocally speaking (Clip 3). This song also sounds a lot better than most deep cuts from Wings. Wings had some good hits, but except for the Band On The Run CD, their non-hits usually miss the mark.
