When you're listening late at night you might think the band is not quite right...

Hope this hasn't been posted but i did search. I was listening to "that was me" from PM's newest album and noticed that the references he made to his younger years weren't specific to anybody let alone paul except these lyrics
"Mersy beat n' with the band, that was me" if i remember correctly "mersey beats" was the title of that album by billy and the pepperpots
"in the middle of the picture, that was me" that references so many of the clues but obviously ones like the sgt peppers back turned pic etc.
But I noticed these after listening to ringo's liverpool '08 track and how he referenced the guys and obviously his time in the band and i thought it was weird how it would have been a great opportunity for nostalgia if he drew on his experiences but it's like he's refusing to, like he wants to move on from having to be him.
I don't know, just some thoughts.

Of course we can see it any way we want really. At the end of the day Music is art and interpretation is all in the eye (or ear) of the beholder.

I don't know, just some thoughts. And what does this reveal potentially--- What could possibly lead to disagreeing about one's life story? What could raise a doubt in one's own mind about one's bio? "Who am I to disagree?" is like "Who am I to complain?", or "Who am I to judge?" Which is saying, "It is not appropriate for me to do so", NOT "There is no case to be made for my disagreement, or complaint, or judgment." i.e. There may be room for disagreement, but I can not be the one to make offer any. I.e., but someone else could........ However, no one else may, and no one else Will. Which is not to say that no one else should, but odds are they won't. I.e. it ain't gonna happen, in reality. Insiders won't spill; outsiders lack all concrete evidence. Paul is Dead is a scanty affair. We've made the most we could here out of information small enough to be condensed onto a cocktail napkin. That's probably where it all came from to begin with. Cocktail napkin? That's what we need. We need to hunt the trash bins of the world for an old, 1964 cocktail napkin that Paul may have used to put under a glass of Coca-Cola. His DNA will be on it. 44 year old DNA is still DNA. Compare with billy's. The ace is in the bag, the cat is in the hole, the chicken's on the loose, a fiddler on the roof. I got my "silly" on again. The clues reach us, but not likely others. The clues are like half-clues. Lennon and others leave us these half-clues, we make the leap needed to solve for other half, and, voila, a whole clue is born, hopefully not in Français, only to be comprehended by the clued-in, NOT the clueless. Which is to imply that the 98% of the world that does not get Paul was Replaced is CLUELESS!

It's true, we are mostly 3rd party players, but relevant, nonetheless. Perhaps that was the intended symbolism of the suitcase in the phoney vids., audience participation.
Escapism & self-validation are 2 ideals, both sought by insiders & outsiders alike, ironically, from & by each other, back to mirrors & circles again.,
Faullible is correct, we are all pieces of an interchanging puzzle, & yes, this has gone way beyond the issue of DNA on a plastic cup., it's clearly about something much bigger.
