;D Definitely. The thing is, it's not the photos of Faul with his ears closer to his head that amaze me. It's the ones taken in later years where his ears are now FARTHER AWAY FROM HIS HEAD. I've heard of people having their ears pinned back. Have you ever heard of anyone HAVING THAT PROCESS REVERSED !!! ;D

Maybe this is proof that perhaps photos are deceiving? Seriously, why Would someone surgically mover their ears further from their head?! ;D And if photos are deceiving, then....

To make himself look more like the real James Paul McCartney. In EVERY photo of Paul before 1967, his ears stick out away from his head. Then in the photos from 1967, sometimes they do sometimes they don't. Then I'd guess after 1990 ( I'm really not sure of the date ) his ears are now sticking out away from his head all the time again. I believe that S.K is right. "Faul" used to have prosthetic ears provided by a professional makeup artist. Sometimes he'd wear them, sometimes he wouldn't. In the beginning, he was still supposed to give it all up after they released Abbey Road. Abbey Road was SUPPOSED to be their last record album. He's had extensive surgery over the years to make himself look as much like James Paul as he could. This would involve having his ears stick out ALL OF THE TIME !!! That is the ONLY logical reason as to why he would have surgery to make his ears stick out !!!

Right on, Billy Faul the only person who would take ears that were flat against his head and have them made into stick out ears ;D ;D But like you said, he wanted to look more like the real James Paul McCartney. Also he WAS supposed to be only a temporary stand-in, but liked that limelight and wouldn't go away
