This is a clip from "The Night Before" from the 1987 video of Help! Does it look like the real JPM to you? I think it does for 2 reasons 1. Look at that short nose and droopy eyes! 2. He looks much different and especially younger in that scene than the rest of the movie (the rest being Sir Faul). What do you think?

Agree. Paul's hair covered his forehead. Fauls doesn't.

It's Paul. Paul had that natural way of moving his head down when singing at moments which Bill tries to imitate. Paul also has that magical smile. It never looked like he had rabbit teeth. When Bill smiles, you think "Run, rabbit, run" even though they tried to give him the same dentures as Paul.

I am speechless. You are truly one of the best things to happen to this forum in a VERY long time. Just watching Paul's fingers plucking that base guitar does my heart good ;D

"Crazy kids, these days, they grow up with computers!" Heres the simple method i used to make the animated avatars and such: 1. Play the 1987 Help! Video while recording it with my digital camera on a tripod 2. Import it into my iBook ( ) 3. Open the video in ImageReady, turning it into a .gif file 4. Crop and add text and stuff!

Intervideo Windvd 6 (and probably other versions) lets you record up to ~20 seconds of .gif animation from a dvd.

It is obviously the real, genuine article......James Paul. As always you do excellent work, RRD Well, yes, in general it does, but could there be a slight sort of film process blend here? I mean, yes, it DOES look like JPM, and I think that it is JPM, but can a computer bend a feature or two to add in a suggestion of William? I know that sounds really over the top, and technically it seems like it would show, and there is no apparent sign of special effects in that clip.......I dunno.......the differences are hard to quantize, some times.

Well, that could probably easily be done today, but remember, this is from 1987.

What? How'd you get it for free? A friend. He also gave me Yellow Sub, A Hard Day's Night, Let It Be (a bootleg version) and some bootlegs all on DVD's. Great guy.
