... James Paul McCartney had ALWAYS the same nose tip... .... Faul[/size], instead has to decide what "model" of nose to adopt....yet! VERY PROBABLY the make-up artist Stuart Freeborn was involved. There was a "hole" on 1966-1967 in his career... (BTW Full legal value!)

Isn't that amazing! THE Paul McCartney never had to worry about his nose. It was always the same cute nose. But Bill, on the other hand, as to decide which nose tip to wear That's as bad as me trying to figure out which outfit to wear each day....however, my nose tip is unchangeable ;D ;D

The top photo from MMT he was inside the bus, right ? The bottom photo, also taken sometime in 1967, he is in the sun. Why then, does his hair look DARKER in the bottom photo than the top one ? It should be the other way around. In the bottom photo, it looks to me like he DYED his hair a darker color. WHY ? He must've realized that his hair was showing up on camera a lighter brown than Paul's hair was ! I think in the bottom photo, his hair was DARKER than Paul's hair was ! It must've been a bitch trying to get that color JUST right, eh Bill ?

Hard to reproduce that coarse hair texture, those thicker individual strands of hair that JamesPaul seem to have in early photos. Pourous hair, finer hair, reacts differently to hair dyes. Bill's hair seems to be more uniform, slicker, more sheen, more manageable. JP's appeared to be harder to drag a comb through, heavier, weightier. Unless that's just the wig quality..........aye, there's the thing........wigs wigs wigs

Perplexed - I'm still not convinced that Paul wore a top wig. Maybe he wore one once in awhile if he was concerned with his hair appearing too thin on top. I know that they used to get the works done to them at photo sessions. This would include having their hair professionally styled. At that time, I'm sure that could include having the hair at the top of someone's head teased & sprayed, to increase the volume ! If that's the case, the hair texture would still remain the same. You made some very important & valid points in your last post. After reading it, I looked over the photos again. You are correct as usual. Paul's hair was ALOT thicker than Bill's is ! Good work, my friend.

Paul probably did wear a wig when he was disguise so he could travel in public.

He probably did, so he wasn't recognized. Or maybe he was starting to thin a bit on top. His dad was totally bald. Or it might have been a bit of both.
You couldn't blame him for disguising himself if he just wanted to travel around and not beset upon by a horde of adoring fans.

with paul's body mangled and his facial features badly damaged, my guess is they had to rely solely upon pictures in '66 and '67 to reconstruct the nose of faul to as much of a likeness as possible. in other words, the surgeons had the same problem we do, that of trying to piece together the "right nose" from many different photos having different angles and lens variations.
after all, they could not "blow the nose" could they ;D

The thing I always notice about Paul's nose is that the join between the nose and upper lip area is unusual - and hard to describe in words Let me try -it has an irish look about it - the area above the lip seems to meet with his nose half way out into the nose? With a gentle curve? That is totally missing here But it looks like someone tried to rectify the missing curve with an implant as seen here

Yes. My mom and brother have the exact same feature ( I do not; the tip of my nose is boringly straight like my dad's), but its like at the point where the nostrils are, there is an ever so slight life, or turning out, or up, of the ridge of the nose. Its a very nice detail in a person's profile, and because of my complete lac of that detail, and because I lived in the shadow of my way handsomer brother who HAD such a little detail (this is like way embarrasing to admit to), I tended to always notice it in people. I took it as a kind of sign of being born better! As a child, I mean, growing up, I thought this. I thought, when I was 11 or 12, that when I older and rich (haha) I would have it put into my nose by the surgeons. I still ain't got it. And, today, I'm OK with that.
12 steps, one day a time. Admit you don't have the perfect nose, and go to meetings. God grant me the serenity to accept the nose I have.......
OK, OK, I had some REAL goofy notions as a child.
But, for this reason, I notice always---the nose..........

Molly, Thanks for pointing the nose/lip thing out. It's a really useful piece of information when trying to determine Paul vs Faul.
