OH MY GOD! He looks NOTHING like Paul. Check out the lines on his forehead. He doesn't even have the same smile like Paul!

The photos of the two of them looking through a movie camera are amazing. Faul looks SO much older than Paul. His hair, ear, & eyes look very different.

if bill shepperd and mal evans were friends within the beatles circle, there'd probably be photos of them together prior to these fall '66 safari photos. they might be photos from a beatles party, or from one of those tour scrapbooks that private photographers have. it's definitely worth checking out. you see, bill and mal were supposedly friends since 1964- there's no way they could have tracked down all of their pictures, and having these pictures would contribute greatly towards the "evolution of faul" thing in my view.....
i've seen similar photos turn up in flea markets and store photo collections all the time- "candid" shots of celebrities, some dating from the 30's and 40's. look, since it's the beatles we're talking about here the pictures we seek may even be already published.....
never forget, MANY GREAT BEATLES PHOTOS ARE UN-PUBLISHED.

A photo with Bill and James Paul together could be the "right" cover of the next Faul's album......

Exactly, SunKing. From your mouth to Faul's ears.

I am still wondering, why, at THIS particular time, they were on a safari?
what other "facilities" are located in Kenya? and WHO may be the bankroll?

S.K. love your idea. It would only be fitting to have Paul/Faul side by side on Faul's next album Do you think Faul has the cajones? And Lucy, it is an interesting thought. Could it be that there was some quiet little village where JPM wouldn't be recognized so that Bill could start on his much need plastic surgery. Wasn't there a picture of a makeup artist going with them? Did you notice how weak Bill's chin was? Just wondered: How long between these videos and Kenya trip to the time when Mal died?

Mal Evans thought him better there for training Bill. with all due respect SK, I think there's an AFRICA connection going unsaid & under-investigated. Even Faul's complete change in hairstyle evident from these photos ( he probably has it straightened) is telling us something......no, not just a vacation here, it hadn't been earned yet.

Possibly a WORKING VACATION He went there because it was less likely that someone would stumble across him during his plastic surgeries and healing time. Kenya is not a place where the majority would vacation, I don't think. And he couldn't be caught with his "smalls" down, so to speak, or his face bandaged here and there or black and blue In the more populated spots, someone would have recognized the popular Beatle. He would even have had to shave his hairy chest for beach shots, as Paul didn't have a very hairy chest. Oh, yes, and the dental work, too. He might have gotten to be a tourist during his recuperation periods, but otherwise, he was working---working to become Paul McCartney's clone.

How did "Paul" manage to avoid all the screaming teenage Kenyian girls? ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hiding behind bandages ;D Maybe he just didn't have that many Kenya teenage fans or he would just let his head "Faul" forward so he wasn't well seen

Thank you, Billy. Of course, he could say, when he disappeared for extended periods, that he went "tiger hunting....and in case of accident he always took his 'mum' (stepmom)"
