Hello, fellow clue hunters!
Ok, this may be stretching it a bit...but what the heck, I noticed all of this so I am going to throw it out there for discussion. Alright….let's get out our Sgt. Pepper album covers and have a closer look!
Now, we all know that there were 5 Beatles to begin with. Well look above Paul’s head…there is an open hand showing 5 fingers (yeah I know this also represents death but I think it has a DOUBLE meaning here). As in FIVE in the beginning...
Here's another thing I noticed about Sutcliffe and the 5 fingered hand. Stu is lpresent on the Sgt. Pepper cover...he is the third man down on the left. Well if you take a ruler and measure down from the top of the cover to Stu (the center of his nose is at 2 1/2 inches on my LP cover)....and then drag the ruler (marking 2 1/2 inches) across to the 5 fingered hand...it is in a perfect, even & parallel line with the center of the open palm over Paul!!!
After Sutcliffe’s death, that left 4 Beatles…..now look directly under the open hand and go down a bit and look at the right hand of Paul….one can SEE he has 4 fingers resting on the top portion of his oboe. This top portion of his oboe is resting on his LEFT shoulder...as in 4 LEFT after Stu. His right hand is a good distance below the open palm…showing that these four were left below while Stu ascended.
Now, go down a little further and look at the left hand of McCartney… he has three fingers of his left hand slightly parted and prominently placed on the very bottom half of the Cor Anglais (which is a DOUBLE reed instrument, by the way) that he's holding…his fourth finger is slightly tucked back and is not touching the instrument at all. Is this showing that 3 Beatles are left now that Paul is dead? This being represented by the 3 fingers on his LEFT hand? As in 3 LEFT?
One could also theorize that because the 3 fingers of his left hand are placed at the very bottom of the horn that represents that there are now 3 left BELOW? Below meaning earthbound…..and Paul being ascended (heaven/nirvana) like Stu before him?
It’s funny how the open palm and Paul's two hands are all in a perfect and direct descending line…like it’s showing a COUNT DOWN. 5…4….3…
Some people may say I am stretching all of this…and maybe I am…but consider the other 3 Beatles on the cover for a moment….they are holding their instruments….but not in a manner as if they were fixing to play them…but Paul is doing just that. One has to look closer to figure out what he is showing us.
Thanks for listening to me ramble...please post back and let me know what you all think of this! Thanks!
