I have learned so much from you guys (thanks... and one of those things I learned is that almost every aspect of the Beatles career and lives were orchestrated and manipulated. I would like to know if you guys have any idea what the purpose of the visit to the maharishi was.--Spanky

to put Paul's soul in Faul's body. Of course it didn't work and was preposterous. They were 'desperate with grief' according to the source on the 60IF story.
I believe George may have went on his own beforehand. --Dark_Horse
I believe the line "Come together right now over me" is the prayer to bring Paul's soul into Faul's body and the song focuses on various aspects of Paul and in particular the last time they remember him (I think). It's like, by focusing on things about Paul and then saying the prayer that it will somehow attract Paul's energy/spirit/soul if you catch my drift? -- Paul_Bearer
I think that the India trip was some "psychologycal therapy" to accept Paul's dead and then going on with this conspiracy. Of course all managed by the "brains" of this story. Also it was maybe to approach a little more the three Beatles to Faul. Maharishi was just a gear in the machine. -- TheEggMan

This is my second time writing this. I'm like duh Anyway, Steve Martin & Lily Tomlin starred in a movie called All of Me. It's about the same thing as they did between Paul & Billy. If you haven't seen it, rent it... I'm not gonna go into details, it'll take too long. Suffice it to say that the Soul leaves the body at the time of death ( as we all know )... In the movie, they did it the right way. The soul didn't go where it was SUPPOSED to go, but the ceremony was done correctly. The 1st strike against them with Billy & Paul, was that Paul had been dead quite awhile when they tried the ceremony. I don't know how this alters the ceremony. I'm no expert at Eastern Religions... The reason I'm interjecting here, is because I have my own theory concerning what happened after that ceremony... I believe that they may not have accomplished exactly what they were trying to do. However, they did manage to link Billy & Paul. For me, this is my only explanation for the few songs that Billy has been able to write ( & perform ) that are very similar to Paul's in style & content... My guess is that at certain times, Paul has been able to enter Billy's body & accomplish certain things... There are certain photos of Faul, that I swear I can see Paul looking out through his eyes... WEIRD Not often enough for my liking though I have to go, I have company... I just wanted everyone to know what I thought on this subject... Love to all... Chris

Remember though Chris, alot of photos are doctored. In fact, Sun_King has just posted saying (and showing) that they often merged two photos together - one of Paul and one of Faul to give the effect they wanted!
Also, we don't belive Faul has proably ever written any music of his own. It's been written by other artists including Elton John, who you may or may not know was known to deliberately try ot write in Beatles style; forinstance, "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road".
So, yes, some of his music (not much of it mind) is in a Beatlish style but it is either James Paul's leftovers or clever musicians imitating. Notice it couldn't been done with any great or long-term consistency.
Different composers gave Faul an inconsistent style.

Yes that's true... However, I can't help but have that feeling... I feel that Paul & Billy are linked... At least sometimes. That song that we were talking about, I believe it was " The World Tonight "... Where Faul was singing it from Paul's perspective It kind of makes you wonder .... Love to all... Chris
