I think that he was one of the targets. 1st, as far as the KKK connection is concerned, they were the patsys. I'm not saying that they wouldn't have liked to do exactly what happened. What I AM saying is that their threats gave the Powers That Be the smoke screen they needed to remove two people who were gumming up the works. If we go along with the idea that the British & American Govt.s wanted to get the youth population under control by exposing them to drugs, God that 's a horrible thing to do... Anyway, according to 601F, Paul couldn't take LSD because he had IBS. I have this & it SUCKS big time. Thank God I never took LSD ( although I had dropped alot of Mescaline when I was a late teen - shush, don't tell my kids  )... I digress ( as usual )... I think they wanted Brain & James Paul out of the way... They were not going along with the program... My honest opinion about James Paul is that he was too hard to control. That boy had charm. He had enough charm for at least 10 people. He had the charm & John had the wit. Together, they were magic... Paul would do as he pleased. He had already sired at least 2 kids. Girls would line up to go to bed with him. I don't know WHY he didn't use birth control. I wish I could look inside his head. Unfortunately, that's impossible now. They wanted someone that they could control. So, the fact that James Paul couldn't take LSD, combined with his unpredictable actions, were his undoing. The only reason I'm even saying this, is because look at what happened once he had been replaced. Paul ( Faul ) never sired a child, until he was with Linda. He married her before Mary was born. It's the kind of thing you would expect from the establishment. Everything had to be above board. The Beatles really were pretty clean. I know that they did drugs, but that was about it. Look at groups like the Rolling Stones... They got into all kinds of sh*t... They wanted The Beatles to be role models for that generation. Paul (Faul ) was the pretty face who COULD be controlled... Onto Brian. He loved those boys. They were his family. He would never have gone along with anyone hurting them ( by introducing them to LSD ) . He never would've gone along with anyone taking James Paul's place. So, they had to eliminate him, & get them a manager who would accept Paul ( Faul ) AS James Paul... It's just that simple... I've wondered if the coverup is deeper than we thought. It was one of the early lost posts which I'll post again now... In light of Steven Lightfoot's story here, I've had further thoughts. Does the coverup go deeper than we thought?
This is all speculation but what I was wondering was if the CIA/FBI had a hand in deliberately inciting protests and anti-Beatles feeling in America. Maybe they thought that the Beatles were becoming a threat to the American culture and way of life having still dominated the world music charts after more than two years with no sign of dissapating. I think that the American intelligence arrogant point-of-view is that America must always dominate in everything. So they deliberately let John's statement about Jesus get misquoted, taken out of context, inflated way out of importance. And perhaps they encouraged the record-smashing frenzy and even manipulated or used the KKK in the protests to cause problems. Even more eerie (remember I'm just speculating) perhaps they actually maniulated/helped the KKK with the kidnapping plan in order to destroy the Beatles world dominance so that good old USA could be on top again. But they were partly thwarted by the British intelligence countering with the impersonator plan. Sun_King has told me me that it was a British vs American intelligence thing so I wonder.
As I understand it, Yoko worked for the British foreign office and her main agenda was to protect William from exposure. The CIA's main job, on the other hand, was to stop exposure of the culprits. (It's hard to see why a Japanese woman would want to protect a white supremist group so I assume she just stuck to her own agenda and didn't concern herself with the other).
Perhaps, in the end, it was a joint venture to kill John Lennon. Both sides had reasons to want him out of the way.
It would be good to get hold of some Time magazines from around Aug-Oct 66 to see if there is an issue full of coded messages as there appears to be for JFK and John Lennon. If so, then we will know that the CIA/FBI/Nixon (whatever) is involved in the kidnapping.Now, as an appendum to that post Chris, it's quite possible that the CIA fooled the remaining Beatles into thinking that it was the KKK whereas it was themselves all along. The fact that the kidnappers from the van were in black and not white like clansmen usually are (the meaning of the White Album cover BTW) could be a clue though not necessarily so. If that's the case then 60IF is still true from George's POV, because he sincerely believed it was the KKK. However, it's more likely that it was the KKK manipulated by intelligence because it appears there was some kind of religious sacrifice, though, again, it's possible that the CIA faked it. |

I agree 100% in your assertion that there was a bigger hand involved in Paul and Brian's kidnapping. This may sound strange but I don't think the KKK were that smart to do that on their own. That's why it didn't make sense that they would come all the way to Britain to kidnap Brian unless they were manipulated into doing it. And that is SO easy.

Paul - very astute my friend... You know I still can't believe what Eddie was doing. I haven't read my e-mail in a while. I hope he doesn't start harrassing me < sigh > ... Gawd, am I gullible or what  Anyway, I think the entire incident was orchestrated by an agency of the American Govt... It makes sense the way you explained it. The Americans wanted world dominance in the music industry, The Brits wanted to maintain their dominance. A tug of war, with The Beatles as their pawns < sigh > .... They killed Brian for the reasons I explained. I just know it, don't ask me how... They couldn't get Paul to take the drugs necessary to help control him !!! For all we know, maybe they accidently killed him by forcing him to ingest something that caused his body to go into spasm !!! What a**holes !!! Like I said ( & will keep saying ) there is something strange afoot... In my humble opinion, I believe that some of us on this board are getting a little "help" from those who have crossed over... I agree with the whole concept, except for the idea that there is a difference between the American and British governments. Honey, GEORGE BUSH IS A MEMBER OF THE BRITISH ROYAL FAMILY! And you know what? SO IS AL GORE! Almost all of our presidents AND their opponents have been relatives of a European royal family, and the ones that weren't, most of them had assassination attempts on them, many of them successful. Abraham Lincoln told his friends for years leading up to his death that the Catholic jesuits were trying to kill him! He personally expressed the belief that the civil war was the result of agitation by secret societies. I guess they would call him paranoid nowadays!

How can I adopt this boy  ( oops, man !!! ) Andrew, you're so smart. I was thinking about that. I mean the fact that the USA's Agenda was different from the British Intelligence. I've been trying to work it in, but it hasn't really felt right... I think all of those Bastards had a hand in it... I'm not 100% sure of the particulars. I've been meaning to write this, & keep getting sidetracked  I think that the people who kidnapped Paul & Brian wre definitely govt. agents. Straights in black suits Bet they had dark sunglasses on !!!! MIB !!! I keep thinking about that... They were targeted for extermination, & the MIB did the actual removal. Probably removed all the evidence from the rental car. That is their motus operandi ( I know I'm not spelling that right )... It would also explain WHY the police couldn't make heads or tails of it. About the KKK thing, Im kinda on both sides. Maybe they from the goverment, but they dressed up as the KKK or something to make it seem like they had nothing to do with it. Think about that for a while. The KKK thing could have just been an "in case" type of thing. If the truth was actually let out, they could just say "Damn them KKKers. Always going around messing everything up." That would get it off their hands, and it would make the KKK seem even worse than they already were.

Hi folks... spent some time tonight going over the 60IF & Uberkinder sites. Spooky stuff indeed I was a teenager at the time & thought it was all a bit strange at the time - the rumours an all that. Reading about it more in depth & looking at the pictures - spooky stuff has changed into 'Scary Stuff' I feel that the KKK were a Red Herring & that the kidnapping was to do with getting Brian and that Paul was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. If memory serves me right, Brians lifestyle was a bit 'out there' for what was still (at that time) conservative times in his circle - dare I say 'class' & was OK as long as it wasn't flaunted. He couldn't take the drugs that they wanted to use to control the minds of the Beatles. This was because of his poor health. I think they might have kidnapped him as a warning. Forced the drugs into his system ( to teach him a lesson about resistance ) & accidently killed him. Brian was killed because he wouldn't go along with any plan that included replacing James Paul...
