Hello. My name is Katio. I'm sixteen, and a fairly big fan of the Beatles. I only have one of their original records (Yesterday and Today) that was my mum's family's back when she was a child. Amazingly, for a family with a lot of children in it, the Beatle's record came out with only a couple of small scratches on it (can't say the same for a lot of the others...)
I digress. I was reading a friend's blog and they has linked the Paul is Dead page. At first I actually thought it was a joke (like the "David Hasselhoff is Really the Devil" one) but then I read and looked at all the evidence and...it was just horrifyingly eye-opening. I, like many others, wondered why Paul looked so much thinner in the face on Sgt. Pepper's, but I just dismissed it as him losing weight or something. I'm young, so I never even KNEW about the other time when everyone thought James Paul was dead.
Last night I went to bed crying my eyes out. And now I'm writing a song. Sure, it's not going to be as good as Uber-Kinder's, but then again, I'm not a musician. I'm trying hard to express my feelings. When I finish, I'll post the lyrics on the board. That is, if anyone would like to read them.

Hello Katio,
I too feel 'Yer Blues' since having seen much of the evidence, though I am not so totally convinced, it does explain much. Peoples appearances change over time, but eye width does not.
I too have been grieving over this since I found this site a few days ago. Oddly enough, a couple weeks ago I saw Faul on TV and thought, 'that's not Paul.' Maybe I was being internally tipped, and then this site turns up.
It seems many of us feel pain and suffering for having been duped, and maybe that is the part that still does not believe, but it is somewhat easier to accept that Paul is long since gone, and that this is the reason why The Beatles broke up, and why 'Paul' and John became such bitter enemies when for their whole lives they had been the best of friends.
I play guitar myself and write, but mostly poems not songs.

Alright. Here they are. I'm warning you, I've only written like...three songs in my whole life:
He has flown Before we had a chance say goodbye Before we knew that he was gone The lost boys pretend As though this weren’t the end Of the lost boys and the fall
Pulling puppets on string Puppets remembering Not too much though Or off to the chopping block Secret men with awful plans Whispers on their breath and blood on their hands
They are leaving Before we have a chance to figure it all out The clues like footprints on the ground The lost boys, they left them there To show that it’s not the end Of the lost boys and the fall
That's basically it. I have a melody, but I'm not sure how you'd be able to hear me singing it (and painfully plucking the notes on my piano) because I don't have a microphone. Sorry.

Thank you for sharing it. It does give you a heavy heart to think of losing someone so young.

Let me say that better...
I don't personally believe Paul is dead. You can if you want.
If I waste your time, don't read my posts. Thanks.

I'm a Libra. 'Nuff said.
"The brotherhood of men does not imply their equality. Families have their fools and their men of genius, their black sheep and their saints, their worldly successes and their worldly failures. A man should treat his brothers lovingly and with justice, according to the deserts of each. But the deserts of every brother are not the same."

By the way Katio, I just read your lyrics. Well done! I especialy like the lines "the lost boys pretend/as though this weren't the end"
It reminds me of Dylan Thomas, or some other mid-century writer.

We love equality! FREE SPEECH AND EQUALITY FOR ALL!
Sun King, I don't know if you intended to be mean back there with your comment, but I wish to take it as a humorous quip and nothing more. I respect you as a member of this foum very much and I don't want to loose that.

Number 9, thanks for the welcome. Been listening to some of the old Beatles tapes trying to get a better feel for Paul's voice, I am not sure when 'Faul' came in but Eleanor Rigby sounded a bit off.
Back to site to figure the timeline a bit better.

Alex,
You seem to think the pic of Paul outside of Abbey Rd in Dec 1966 is 'Paul.' You also seem to think that the distance between a person's eyes changes with time. The more I look into this the more legitimate it seems. I have been on 'Rue Morgue Avenue' for a while but at least I can feel love for the real Paul and get over the resentment that I felt for 'him' for so long. Listen to his voice closely, but after all the editing that has been done, the original vinyl is probably the best source as it contains the good and the bad.
