I note Sun King said elsewhere (in response to a post from a skeptic) that 60IF doesn't claim that McCartney's body lay in the open until George and John got back from India and Spain, respectively. I'd say that it does. The following is copied from said document,
"We were called out in order to identify Paul's body. At the time John was in Paris and George was in India. They immediately returned home. Paul was found at the foot of a hill, a little distance from a white Volkswagen....
2 PARAGRAPHS LATER
When we arrived there was a line of police officers blocking us while a crowd of men in shirts were retrieving material for further investigation. They were so oblivious to the grief we felt that one of them had the audacity to exclaim right in front of the Paul's dead body: " Look ...it seems like a walrus!"
Well, with his teeth hanging outside of his eaten-up lips and with a shiny swollen ear and dripping wet he really did look like a walrus. etc etc"
The inference you have to draw from the fact that a line of policemen blocked them, and that others were there retreiving evidence, is that the body was in the open. I think this is patently stupid, and for what it's worth, I think the document's credibility hinges on this. I can't get by this, and if you accept that 60IF is lacking credibility...

He probably didn't die till that day, sometime before they finally found him. And besides, ever heard of millionaires who can hire ultra-fast flights?

Here comes Sun King's answer. Who is lacking credibility... is who tells that 60IF tells John was in Spain. Paris-Liverpool 1 hour of flying. That was a Beatles affair. Sorry I was the walrus. It's time to change glasses...

Now, hold on imgonnaopenmymind!
You hypothisized "he probably didn't die until that day" but that is not exactly correct. The observation of whomever composed the 60IF document (George Harrison, supposeidly) was that "he must have laid their a very long time" or words close to that effect.
That accounts for the decay, the critters pecking on the corpse, the distorted, bloated features.
Perhaps....just perhaps, Elidor has got stuck on a semantic point. Perhaps the author of 60IF spoke it to someone, and didn't write it down, therefore it translates as it does.
WHAT IF... Paul had been dead there in a secluded area for almost a week. WHAT IF when "they" got there, meaning John & George, was the day they FOUND the body...and John could be there quite quickly, and perhaps by happenstance George was returning that day anyway.....
There is always more than one way to decipher anything, and it makes no logical sense to intentionally verbally paint the whole theory into a corner over ONE niggling point of verbage.
AGAIN, the visual evidence is beyond compelling. Please all agree to THAT, and we can banter about the rest....

After all Ringo was first in 60IF to get to the where the car had been left at the semaphore stop, right? 60IF doesn't say that Geirge ever MADE it to the death scene, only that he left immediately upon finding out. I assume there were telephones in India in 1966.
Also, if the scene implies possible homicide, then it is a crime scene. And don't the authorities leave everything intact for sometimes a number of hours while they gather evidence. They do block the scene (in America) from all civilians. And the document doesn't address who all is at the scene, but you have to think that many agencies would have responded to this kind of an incident, no? John could have oredered a helicopter, perhaps. Or with their connections, maybe a helicopter was dispatched for him. He could have made his way to a private plane then, bound for whatever small local airport near to this mysterious scene. Just speculating.............

Perhaps the author of 60IF spoke it to someone, and didn't write it down, therefore it translates as it does. Who is speaking "60IF" is NOT George! It's "the voice of THE BEATLES". George never saw that scene.

Who is speaking "60IF" is NOT George! It's "the voice of THE BEATLES". George never saw that scene. Then, due to multiple interpretations, we're getting divergent views and conclusions. One minute 60IF was written by George; now according to you, it's not. I still say: Our grail is the visual evidence. Anyone know a private investigator, preferably in Britian? Let's get to the bottom of the sea of holes here....
