A promising program here: www.blazeaudio.com/products/Download "VoiceSFX 1.3" 30 day trial, US$9.95 to buy. Looks like it does what you would want to do.

Back in 1966 or 67, when the 'Paul is Dead' story 1st appeared, some of the clues involved playing parts of songs 'backwards'. So all I did was spin the records backwards by hand, trying to get the correct speed to spin. It was very interesting then, as it still is, and those 1st release albums I have are probably worth a little money now. I have 1st releases of: Something New, Sgt. Pepper's, White Album & Abbey Road, all in top condition. Plus a ton of 45s in their original jackets.

Zoltron, If you have the original cut of the Strawberry Fields 45, then you are one of the few who will be able to hear "I buried Paul" right at the end in the inner grooves as John originally intended. Later cuts of this single had the clue edited to sound more like "Cranbury Sauce" as per John's cover story on the matter.

That was 1 of the 1st clues I listened to as a kid...that is on the record I have, plus I have the original Magical Mystery Tour with the 'big' booklet in the middle & I think 'I buried Paul' is right after Strawberry Fields & before Penny Lane...but I have about 4 or 5 1st releases of Beatles albums...Sgt. Peppers, MMT, White & Abbey Road...and a bunch of the 45s I haven't played in decades!! ;D

1 more thing I forgot to mention...if there is anything I can contribute, such as looking something up on these original releases, feel free to let me know. I'll do what I can to help. Like I mentioned before, the 1st releases were the albums I was 'investigating' as a kid. I found it very interesting in 1967(?) & still do, so please let me know if you'd like for me to check something out!
