Hi everyone. I didn't see any threads or a place for one to relate to others how a newby ended up here as I'm sure everyone has a unique story as to how we cut through the muck to see the truth about Paul and Faul.
So I started this thread rather then blindly replying to a thread where nobody knows me.
I had just turned the ripe young age of 8 when I first heard She Loves You sometime in November 63. It was shortly before Kennedy was shot and I was a kid growing up in the USA. I've lived in East and Southeast Asia the last 12 years and my last trip stateside was about 5 yrs ago.
I've been a Beatle Freak for 40 years now though it's hard to imagine it's been so long.
I remember very well when the news hit the media on a large scale in 69 that Paul was dead. There were rumors before that but nobody I knew really took them as anything other then BS. The news in 69 was different and everyone felt something going on. It was all anyone at school could talk about even the jocks who weren't into music. I would listen to my records and compare them and when some expert said it was evident to him that the Paul of 66 and before was different then the Paul voice of late 66 and after.
He explained that the voice had charecteristics that was like a finger print and everyone had their own unique voice print just like a finger print . Not a lot of people understood that but i swear I could hear a difference.
I remember weeping when I heard the difference in the old Paul and the new Paul voice. But
When the artical in Life Magazine came out where Paul said he'd be the last to know if he was dead and they had photo's of him on his farm , I , like most everyone else was relieved to know it wasn't true and that Paul was alive and well. The world went back to what was accepted as normal and life went on.
In 1971 I was smoking some grass listening to the Beatles when I again noticed a difference in Paul's voice
from the early songs to some of the later tunes.
For awhile after I would spend a lot of time convincing other smokers that Paul was really dead and go over the clues with them pointing them all out again as they had all forgotten them.
It became frustrating as when the heads would come down they would think I was full of it the next time they saw me. Then i would keep my mouth shut and it got to the point where about every two years I would start telling people Paul was really dead as i was convinced.
The cycle would change and for about two years I would be convinced I had been in illusion and that it was crazy to think he was dead. My life was like that for a long time. In 84 a friend of mine and me used his audio equipment and was able to hear Revolution number 9 backwards for the first time since it was on the radio in 69. My friend was shocked as it was the first time he had heard it and frankly until he did hear it he thought I was lying about number 9 played backwards. Bear with me since this is a long story that I'm trying to make short.
Shortly after that time in 84 my life changed and I didn't have a lot of time to think about the PID thing and eventually became like so many others where I was convinced I was crazy to think it and until today didn't know of hardly anyone who took it for real anymore.
Well tonight I saw a link in RMB and the replies to the link were saying it's all a bunch of weird rubbish so I knew I had to check it out. That's how I came to 60if and the related sites. I started from the start on the bands site and up until the 6th level I wasn't getting it or buying it thinking this is just a stretch and why are people still thinking it could be true that PID.
When I was looking at some of the face comparrisons and when it came to that thing on Faul's eye, well my attention was full and chills were building.
Then when I got to the voice comparrison
it all came back and I really could tell and distinguish for the first time the difference. I think the problem was when a record came out with the new paul the change was so gradual kinda like social fabianisim that it wasn't noticed and just accepted at the time to where the new Paul voice was accepted as the Paul voice,, very subtle and AM radio back then wasn't so clear and a lot of people only had cheap hi fi audio.
I'm sure most of the people who visit the site give up in the first few levals as it is oh so strange.
Luckily I stuck it out to the end being a die hard life long fan of the fabs to where it is like hearing the cut on SFF for the first time as once you hear it you always hear it
I can now distinguish the difference between the Real Paul and the fake Faul. Things will never be the same.
Many things have and are becoming clear so fast it is all making sense. Leaving Jane for Linda the way John behaved, so many things didn't add up as to why he didn't like faul visiting the Dakota everything.
So now I know at last and it is undeniable.
So now I guess I'll have to get use again to the funny looks and the nasty comments about my sanity whenever the situation comes up to where I have to tell others in a conversation that Paul is really dead.
I'm going to have to watch the Anthology DVD's again in a whole new light.
What have been other members experiance in coming to the truth and dealing with it when talking about it to those living in the dark. Those who don't dare call it a conspiricy.

I'm glad to be in the real world but it's sad to be aware of the truth.
