"There were maybe two incidents which created the Ziggy Stardust thing for me - or put it firmly in my mind that it was an interesting way to go. One was the fact that I went to see the Velvet Underground when I first got to the States in 1970. At the end of the show I went back and sat down and we talked for about half an hour. Then I told my friend a few days later that I got the chance to speak with Lou and you know it was wonderful and we talked ... He said "No... no...Lou left the band last year. You were talking to Doug Yule - his replacement - who is almost his spitting image." I said "You're kidding me!- but he sat there and talked as though he was Lou and he was talking about how he wrote "Waiting For The Man" and all these things!" And it was at that point that I realised that, at the time, it didn't matter to me if this was the real one or a fake one. So that was one half of the puzzle that could be the Ziggy Stardust type figure - is he real or is he artificial? And the other one was a guy called Vince Taylor..." - David Bowie (2000) David Bowie - Ziggy Stardust Song Lyrics Ziggy ( Paul ) played guitar, jamming good with Weird (John) and Gilly (George) The spiders from Mars. He played it left hand (yep, Paul was a Lefty) But made it too far Became the special man, then we were Ziggy's ( Billy's ) band Ziggy really sang, screwed up eyes ( Yes those Eyes ) and screwed down hairdo (top wig anyone?) Like some cat from Japan, he could lick 'em by smiling He could leave 'em to hang Came on so loaded man, well hung and snow white tan. ( Ahem... Paul the Caucasian Bull... ) So where were the spiders while the fly ( on the wall ie: intelligence) tried to break our balls Just the beer light to guide us, So we bitched about his fans and should we crush his sweet hands? Ziggy played for time, jiving us that we were voodoo The kids were just crass, he was the nazz With God given ass He took it all too far but boy could he play guitar (Remember Taxman?, Yesterday?) Making love with his ego Ziggy sucked up into his mind Like a leper messiah When the kids had killed the man I had to break up the band. Oh yeah Ooooooo Ziggy played guitaarrrrrr 1 FIVE YEARS {1966 + 5 = 1971 ( Year the songs were composed )} 2 SOUL LOVE 3 MOONAGE DAYDREAM 4 STARMAN 5 IT AIN'T EASY 6 LADY STARDUST 7 STAR 8 HANG ON TO YOURSELF 9 ZIGGY STARDUST 10 SUFFRAGETTE CITY 11 ROCK N' ROLL SUICIDE Curious, no?

I believe that well hung is about Faul. I have read that Bowie slept with Mick Jagger & Paul McCartney. Somehow I doubt it was Paul, so it must've been Faul. If you look at certain photos of Faul, it's pretty obvious that he's well endowed ! The rest does seem to apply to Paul.

I just think he took advantage of the situation. After all, Faul was now Paul McCartney. The MOST eligible bachelor of his time ! Jagger & Bowie were also teen idols & shared the same lifestyle as him. Sex, drugs & rock & roll !!!! He was also a VERY handsome man ( due to the work of some very talented plastic surgeons ), & used his good looks to get what he wanted.
So, why not ?!

One thing for sure David Bowie and Mick Jagger are probably more happy with Faul's bi-sexuality than they would have been with Paul who only like sex with females........Ziggy Stardust is once again a clue that is easily overlooked by many, too many.

David Bowie - Starman
Goodbye love Didn’t know what time it was the lights were low oh oh I leaned back on my radio oh oh Some cat was layin’ down some rock ’n’ roll ’lotta soul, he said ( Hearing the real Paul ) Then the loud sound did seem to fade a ade ( Paul Dies ) Came back like a slow voice on a wave of phase ha hase ( Bill's phased ( filtered ) vocals, slower paced than Paul ) That weren’t no d.j. that was hazy cosmic jive ( exactly , hehe )
[Chorus] There’s a starman waiting in the sky ( Faul/Bill = Starman ) He’d like to come and meet us ( Bill would like to meet David and the person he called on the phone ( next verse ) ) But he thinks he’d blow our minds ( True enough... ) There’s a starman waiting in the sky He’s told us not to blow it ( Don't squawk and give it all away ) 'Cause he knows it’s all worthwhile ( Being a replacement that is ) He told me: Let the children lose it ( the old memory of Paul) Let the children use it ( the new memory of Faul ) Let all the children boogie ( it's just music, after all )
I had to phone someone so I picked on you ho ho ( this is too much , I have to check my ears... ) Hey, that’s far out so you heard him too! o o ( not my ears then ) Switch on the tv we may pick him up on channel two ( BBC 2 ?, All You Need is Love? Hey Jude?, An interview?) Look out your window I can see his light a ight (Is he driving up then?) If we can sparkle he may land tonight a ight ( If we talk to Bill just so, maybe he'll talk to us?) Don’t tell your poppa or he’ll get us locked up in fright ( tell no one, or else Bill gets ya locked up! )
[Repeat Chorus 2x]
La (96x)
Bowie knew EVERYTHING! Davey Jones was 'initiated'.
He knew that William Shepherd was...
The Man Who Sold the World
We passed upon the stair, we spoke of was and when Although I wasn’t there, he said I was his friend Which came as some surprise I spoke into his eyes I thought you died alone, a long long time ago
Oh no, not me I never lost control You’re face to face With the man who sold the world
I laughed and shook his hand, and made my way back home I searched for form and land, for years and years I roamed I gazed a gazely stare at all the millions here We must have died along, a long long time ago
Who knows? not me We never lost control You’re face to face With the man who sold the world
Who knows? not me We never lost control You’re face to face With the man who sold the world

Fantastic!
Bowie knew, sure, but he is also one of them and just as phoney as Faul! His body of work speaks for itself.

Oh yeah, what about 'Suffragette city'?
Faul kind of did a similar tune when he released 'Jet'...
what could he mean?
"And Jet, I Thought The Major Was A Little Lady Suffragette."

(hey man) oh leave me alone you know (hey man) oh henry, get off the phone, I gotta (hey man) I gotta straighten my face This mellow thighed chick just put my spine out of place...
Hey man, Henry, don't be unkind, go away Hey man, I can't take you this time, no way Hey man, droogie don't crash here There's only room for one and here she comes, here she comes
Was Bowie trying resolve his gender identity issues? I also remember reading of a rumored affair between Faul and Bowie. A musical conversation.

Bowie is 58 Holy moley I have to go along with you Dezom. I also believe that Davey knew the "real deal ". Major - Major Tom ! Little Lady Suffragette I believe THAT is a direct reference to David Bowie ! Bowie is a small man with gender issues ! Great work, everyone !!!

Where did you hear that David is tall I've seen him not too long ago on a TV special & he looked pretty short. I would not be surprised in the least if he is hung like a horse ;D

OMG you've opened my eyes!
Mott the hoople struggling band cant get their records to sell (i know nothing else about them), so none other than David Bowie writes them a song (and sung it for them i think) which i believe became number one - All the young dudes, here are the lyrics and its a bit creepy, some of the obvious links, i wont explain them coz they're blatant (basically the start)!
Well billy rapped all night about his suicide How he kick it in the head when he was twenty-five Speed jive don’t want to stay alive When you’re twenty-five And wendy’s stealing clothes from marks and sparks And freddy’s got spots from ripping off the stars from his face Funky little boat race Television man is crazy saying we’re juvenile deliquent wrecks Oh man I need tv when I got t rex Oh brother you guessed I’m a dude dad All the young dudes (hey dudes) Carry the news (where are ya) Boogaloo dudes (stand up come on) Carry the news All the young dudes (I want to hear you) Carry the news (I want to see you) Boogaloo dudes (and I want to talk to you all of you) Carry the news
Now lucy looks sweet cause he dresses like a queen But he can kick like a mule it’s a real mean team But we can love oh yes we can love And my brother’s back at home with his beatles and his stones We never got it off on that revolution stuff What a drag too many snags Now I’ve drunk a lot of wine and I’m feeling fine Got to race some cat to bed Oh is there concrete all around Or is it in my head Yeah I’m a dude dad All the young dudes (hey dudes) Carry the news (where are ya) Boogaloo dudes (stand up) Carry the news All the young dudes (I want to hear ya) Carry the news (I want to see you) Boogaloo dudes (and I want to relate to you) Carry the news All the young dudes (what dudes)
Carry the news (let’s hear the news come on) Boogaloo dudes (I want to kick you) Carry the news All the young dudes (hey you there with the glasses) Carry the news (I want you) Boogaloo dudes (I want you at the front) Carry the news (now you all his friends) All the young dudes (now you bring him down cause I want him) Carry the news Boogaloo dudes (I want him right here bring him come on) Carry the news (bring him here you go) All the young dudes (I’ve wanted to do this for years) Carry the news (there you go) Boogaloo dudes (how do you feel) Carry the news
Hmmm

Well, Mick Ronson played guitar for Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, and after Bowie broke up that band, he went on to play guitar for Mott the Hoople. Bowie does not sing on the Mott the Hoople version, but he did release his own version.

Very interesting. I've been haunted the past few days by this "little" number by David Bowie. I have a sneaking suspicion that he wrote it from John's perspective. What the hell, maybe John helped him write it. When I was younger I was mesmerized by the Space Oddity album. That's where you'll find this gem: David Bowie Lyrics Cygnet Committee Lyrics I bless you madly, sadly as I tie my shoes I love you badly, Just in time, at times, I guess Because of you I need to rest Because it's you that sets the test So much has gone and little is new And as the sparrow sings Dawn chorus for Someone else to hear The Thinker sits alone growing older And so bitter "I gave Them life I gave Them all They drained my very soul ...dry I crushed my heart to ease Their pains No thought for me remains there Nothing can They spare What of me? Who praised Their efforts to be free? Words of strength and care and sympathy I opened doors that would have blocked Their way I braved Their cause to guide, for little pay I ravaged at my finance just for Those Those whose claims were steeped in peace, tranquility Those who said a new world, new ways ever free Those whose promises stretched in hope and grace for me" I bless you madly, sadly as I tie my shoes I love you badly, just in time, at times, I guess Because of you I need to rest, oh yes Because it's you that sets the test So much has gone and little is new And as the sunrise stream Flickers on me, My friends talk Of glory, untold dream, where all is God and God is just a word "We had a friend, a talking man Who spoke of many powers that he had Not of the best of men, but Ours We used him We let him use his powers We let him fill Our needs Now We are strong And the road is coming to its end Now the damned have no time to make amends No purse of token fortune stands in Our way The silent guns of love will blast the sky We broke the ruptured structure built of age Our weapons were the tongues of crying rage Where money stood We planted seeds of rebirth And stabbed the backs of fathers Sons of dirt Infiltrated business cesspools Hating through Our sleeves Yea, and We slit the Catholic throat Stoned the poor on slogans such as 'Wish You Could Hear' 'Love Is All We Need' 'Kick Out The Jams' 'Kick Out Your Mother' 'Cut Up Your Friend' 'Screw Up Your Brother or He'll Get You In the End' And We Know the Flag of Love is from Above And We Can Force You to Be Free And We Can Force You to Believe" And I close my eyes and tighten up my brain For I once read a book in which the lovers were slain For they knew not the words of the Free States' refrain It said: "I believe in the Power of Good I Believe in the State of Love I Will Fight For the Right to be Right I Will Kill for the Good of the Fight for the Right to be Right" And I open my eyes to look around And I see a child laid slain on the ground As a love machine lumbers through desolation rows Ploughing down man, woman, listening to its command But not hearing anymore Not hearing anymore Just the shrieks from the old rich And I Want to Believe In the madness that calls 'Now' And I want to Believe That a light's shining through Somehow And I Want to Believe And You Want to Believe And We Want to Believe And We Want to Live Oh, We Want to Live We Want to Live We Want to Live We Want to Live We Want to Live We Want to Live I Want to Live I Want to Live I Want to Live I Want to Live I Want to Live I Want to Live Live Live Live Cygnet = signet The signet committee. All the secret societies had special rings made. Signet rings ! This song is about the Illuminati So many words capitalized as if they mean something special. To call attention to them. Their, Those & certain other words. This song is a goldmine of clues !

Another Bowie song that I feel has clues in it: David Bowie Lyrics From the Hunky Dory album : Changes Lyrics I still don't know what I was waiting for And my time was running wild A million dead-end streets Every time I thought I'd got it made It seemed the taste was not so sweet So I turned myself to face me But I've never caught a glimpse Of how the others must see the faker I'm much too fast to take that test Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes (Turn and face the stranger) Ch-ch-Changes Don't want to be a richer man Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes (Turn and face the stranger) Ch-ch-Changes Just gonna have to be a different man Time may change me But I can't trace time I watch the ripples change their size But never leave the stream Of warm impermanence and So the days float through my eyes But still the days seem the same And these children that you spit on As they try to change their worlds Are immune to your consultations They're quite aware of what they're going through Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes (Turn and face the stranger) Ch-ch-Changes Don't tell them to grow up and out of it Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes (Turn and face the stranger) Ch-ch-Changes Where's your shame You've left us up to our necks in it Time may change me But you can't trace time Strange fascination, fascinating me Changes are taking the pace I'm going through Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes (Turn and face the stranger) Ch-ch-Changes Oh, look out you rock 'n rollers Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes (Turn and face the stranger) Ch-ch-Changes Pretty soon you're gonna get a little older Time may change me But I can't trace time I said that time may change me But I can't trace time Sheesh
