Every time i look at the wax dummies of the gang on the cover of Sgt Pepper i always look in disgust at the inaccuracy of them, after all they're supposed to be the genuine madame tussauds waxworks and they're usually so good. Despite this fact, they al still keep a resemblence to their real life counterparts except for JP's. Now i know we have over the years been de-sensitised to see the current as being the one and only JPM but really if thats what the original looked like then paul is really, really dead

Of course, Paul is dead.
I noticed that the wax work dummies don't really resemble any of them that well, but in Paul's case, not at all.

Sorry byrds i should have made myself clearer, basically what im saying is that even what we think the original JPM looks like through pics and footage etc is still not exactly like he was because over the years all the photos have been either destroyed or modified (well 99% of original stuff coz some people claim they have genuine undoctored original pictures so im inclined to believe them)

Perplexed! Your back!
Hense the username ;D
OK, the username is actually based on my favorite PID clue in the whole world, but that's a different thread entirely.

Yeh WTG perplexed!
Anyway, again maybe my point isn't clear enough, there are so few original pics left, that it doesn't look anything like Faul, but compare it to the original such as in the Jane Asher pic and we have a match.

Here are a two different views of the wax figures from early session photos:

I have just been a little creeped out by Moped's photos from SGT. Pepper. Of the four wax dummies, Paul's is the only one that truly seems alive. One has to wonder if maybe Paul WAS there ( for a short period of time at least ) during that photo session

Wow, I don't really believe that could possibly be true... BUT, wouldn't that be the craziest?

Guys, we have to belive from reading this forum, that anything is possible!
Although i'm more interested in finding out whos hand is that smoking a fag in the second pic?
Whoever it is, he must be fairly short, where does that pic come from Moped?

Here are a two different views of the wax figures from early session photos: Paul is the only wax figure wearing a light-colored suit. Another clue perhaps? The other 3 are dressed like Paul bearers. I think that's been mentioned before.

I dunno...I've always found the expressions on those wax dummies very strange any time I looked at the cover of SP and I've had this album for many years(listened and enjoyed just as long also). Here we have George and John happy-go lucky smiling, thier focus seems to be indirectly staring and then we have poor, poor, sad-faced Ringo looking down at one of the all time popular clues and then Paul behind him with his hand on his shoulder looking in the same direction. Does this not seem really wierd to anyone??? Wouldnt just anyone who didnt know or believe in PID think it funny as well? If these were made to specification and the tiniest detail to life, wouldn't you think the expressions shouldve been different altogether? In the past, as these were made to be of the Beatles, weren't they always doing something funny or zany? Smiling or interacting with eachother in that way? Wouldn't that be a more suitable 'likeness' of who they were? I'm beggining to think that something is certainly fishy about the SP cover and not just the regurgitated old 'clues' that anything can be made of them. There has got to be more than what has been told in the past and on this board about it and those dummies.
ADDED: I think the person you see part of in the second pic with the cig is Faul himself...looking down at the floor.

Hello all. Great thread! In the black and white photos of posted by moped, it would appear that the way the Paul dummy is standing perfectly straight as if its arms are at its sides. In fact, its right forearm would have to be unnaturally long for it to reach Ringo's shoulder given how the Paul's upper arm appears. If this were true, why would they feel compelled to place a hand on Ringo's shoulder?

Well how's about this for a crazy thought, the Sgt peppers are cardboard cutouts, and the dummies are actually the only real people in that picture!

The business of Paul putting his hand on Ringo's shoulder goes back to the original wax figures. Of course they weren't looking down at a grave, looking like mourners. http://*banned link*/Shoebox/HDNMag1964/Dummies.jpg[/img]

Thanks JoJo That clears it up nicely...theoretically then, John's hand should be on George's shoulder, but it's hidden by Sonny Liston's wax figure. They appear to be the same dummies with altered expressions, and they do appear to be quite accurate.
