Brilliant, byrds. Enjoyed it. I'll leave the Ouija board in Aunt Zelda's attic. Someone painted over the letters, anyway.
Hey, I have enough change for the fare but I don't have a copy of the schedule or the route. How's the driver?

See for yourself: MIND GAMES ;D (John Lennon) We're playing those mind games together Pushing the barriers, planting seeds Playing the mind guerrilla Chanting the mantra, peace on earth We all been playing those mind games forever Some kinda druid dudes lifting the veil Doing the mind guerrilla Some call it magic, the search for the grail Love is the answer and you know that for sure Love is a flower, you got to let it, you got to let it grow So keep on playing those mind games together Faith in the future, outta the now You just can't beat on those mind guerrillas Absolute elsewhere in the stones of your mind Yeah we're playing those mind games forever Projecting our images in space and in time Yes is the answer and you know that for sure Yes is surrender, you got to let it, you got to let it go So keep on playing those mind games together Doing the ritual dance in the sun Millions of mind guerrillas Putting their soul power to the karmic wheel Keep on playing those mind games forever Raising the spirit of peace and love Love... I want you to make love, not war, I know you've heard it before. (end)

Come on down, lets take the "a" train To take a little ride around the city. Brooklyn or broadway train Youll see that old new york is kind of pretty.
Take your baby subway ridin Thats where romance may be hidin (lets take a ride) Take, you should take the "a" train To get to sugar hill way up in harlem.
Come on baby, climb aboard the "a" train Thats the way to get to sugar hill in harlem And if you get aboard the "a" train Youll get to sugar hill and in a hurry.
Listen here, listen to the train a comin Hear the rails a hummin (lets take a ride) Climb aboard, climb aboard the "a" train To take a little ride around the city.
Some versions render it: "You--MUST take the 'A'-Train....."
Hey, way-t a minute.
BUS going backwards..........is........

In light of what we have been reading, byrds, that's a heavy connection. That song was a vague one to me; in high school, I thought it was a man-woman relationship, each other playing games and never getting serious.
No, its not about romance or marraige per se. Now it begins to make sense.

Visual and Audio realities are all expressible as little bits of organized energy vibrating at specific frequencies. All tuned to specific "channels".
iTunes and Quicktime (among others) continue to demonstrate this to me.
Knowing this is well and good. But a hot stove still burns your fingers. If pain is just a signal involving information and electrical currents through the nervous system, why does it still hurt? Why don't we just say, "Ignore that feeling. It is merely a signal telling my brain that my epidermis is risking injury from intense heat."
The message we RESPOND to is still pain. And we start licking our finger or heading for the cold water faucet. And the butter and the aloe and the salve.
I point---as far as I know, holograms don't have pain, hope, emotion, love, pity, compassion, hunger, etc. Just loads of information.
Can we assign "bytes"to a stored hologram to make an image feel something?
I wonder. I believe the hologram theory--well, I believe it has certain application to our reality. It seems plausible to me from the article mentioned.
How do feelings and emotions interface with cold facts the way they do in humans?

The "ghost in the machine" (Thank you, Sting.) seems to be the true experiencer of the mechanical, but biological, devises. I've heard it said that any memory you conjure up from more than a week ago is drawn up from the central computer. Our brains are just the terminal PC's, some say. Btw, I never even knew that "Take the 'A' Train" HAD words! Glad they work for you. Still, I'm given to understand that for most of us, it'll be the bus. But as Bugs Bunny once said, "Oh well. In a situation like this, an ocean liner will do." (I only quote the best.) You'll know it when you see it. Or should I say, hear it. ("Stop children, what's that sound?")

The lyrics to the Bee Gees song "Holiday" were on this site before, but the search engine has failed me in trying to find them, so here they are again. I believe this song is sung from the perspective of Paul. Note that blindness comes up in the lyrics.
"HOLIDAY" ( The Bee Gees)
Ooh you're a holiday , such a holiday Ooh you're a holiday , such a holiday
It's something I think's worthwhile If the puppet makes you smile If not then you're throwing stones Throwing stones, throwing stones
Ooh it's a funny game Don't believe that it's all the same! Can't think what I've just said Put the soft pillow on my head *
Millions of eyes can see Yet why am I so blind? When the someone else is me It's unkind, it's unkind
de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de de
Yet millions of eyes can see Yet why am I so blind When the someone else is me It's unkind, it's unkind
Ooh you're a holiday , ev'ry day , such a holiday Now it's my turn to say , and I say you're a holiday It's something I think's worthwhile If the puppet makes you smile If not then you're throwing stones Throwing stones , throwing stones
de de de de de de de de de de de de de de (end)
Is it "worthwhile" to Paul if Faul makes people smile? That seems to be what's being said if Faul is "the puppet". (Or is Paul Faul's puppet? ) "You're a holiday": Faul is a holiday for Paul while he's recuperating. There's irony that "millions of eyes can see", but they can't see that "the puppet" Faul isn't Paul. Still, it seems OK with him. He's amused, yet the cruelty of his not being noticably absent bothers him.
* This verse is very telling, imo. It amuses Paul that the "funny game" of Faul being him actually works! Then he covers his head with a soft pillow, and can't remember what he's said. I believe this indicates that light is blindingly bright to him, and he has suffered brain damage, or is on heavy medication due to an injury to his head. Is this the result of the lightning stike he is presumed to have suffered? I believe now that the pillows shown on the white album poster are the ones he rested his head on, and used to keep the light out of his eyes. "I'm fixing a hole where the rain gets in And stops my mind from wandering.'' "I'm taking the time for a number of things That weren't important yesterday." (He takes the opportunity of his injury to break from the Beatles and do other things.)

Woah. Far out. No foundation in reality, but far out nonetheless.
I heard that Paul lives on a flat planet supported by four elephants who in turn stand on the back of a giant turtle called Annuin. You can tell by the sad look in Ringo's eyes on the cover of Let it Be what the exact co-ordinates are of the planet where Paul was taken. Also, magnify John's left nostril from Sgt Peppers, and play it backwards. It tells you which branch of the security services abducted Paul. They seemingly did it because he had found out about Prince Albert's masonic invovlement in the Ripper murders in London in the late 1800s.
Paul had actually decided to split from the Beatles and go public with this information. Not many people realise that Paul had alreay started his own record lable called Awful Records. He had channelled the spirit of self styled "wickedest man on Earth" Alisteir Crowley, to establish which popular artists had so far been replaced by doubles. He had already assembled some of them and had begun to record a version of "God Save the Queen", which, when played upside down at 78rpm, would clearly have shown that Pinky and Perky were the two central figures in the Illuminati.
However, just before the final recording session, George Martin went mad in the studio, and repeatedly rammed Foris Day's head into the mixing desk, causing a lot of damage to both the desk and Foris's delicately chiselled looks. Paul lost the plot and grabbed Don Knotts by the cravatt, kicked him in the teeth and began shouting at Matt Busby who had dropped in for a cup of tea, like. Knotts retaliated by shouting "John's the talented one. You're just a big googly eyed, blind, bald dwarf."
Paul burst into tears, ran out the studio, and at this point was picked up by female operatives (Kittens) from MI10 (Mitten). He was never heard from again, apart from the Klaatu albums he made in the 1970s when he was briefly allowed back to earth. Sadly, he kept dropping random PID and PIA references in passing, and was sent back to Alpha Centauri where he lives to this day. He doesn't look a day older than he did in 1966. He still makes records that no-one hears, but if you play them backwards on a piece of Stilton cheese, you can find out where the Holy Grail is...

I stand by my suspicion that the BeeGee song "HOLIDAY" is about Paul. It came out in the late 1960's; the lyrics match what may have been his condition at the time, and a number of other musicians at the time were putting out PID clues in their songs. I don't know that it would do any good to ask the BeeGees themselves what that song is about, because even if it were a PID song they probably wouldn't admit to it, but if anyone here wants to write them, I'm sure they'd come up with something.

Gigantic. But, Stilton cheeze? I thought it was Duddleswell? www.cheese.com/all.asplol My favorite is the "Kittens from MI10." Damn it's late. I'll giggle about that all night. I won't sleep, you know! This is all YOUR fault! If I knew any German, I would cuss you with an umlaut. ......u know I am kidding, I hope, mein herr?

for what it's worth, saint lucy [of sky and diamonds fame] was considered the patron saint of people with eye disorders. on classic paintings she is depicted with two colored [kaliedoscope?] eyes, as legend has it her eyes were blinded by the romans for her faith.

Sometimes we forget to tell people how we feel about them, so I’m taking a time out here to gather my thoughts before I forget. Although I don’t agree with everything you say Bird and I know that after you have posted some of your epiphanies, then I posted a disagreement of your post, it was because you made me think. That is a really good thing. You make people think. Don’t be discouraged by the nay sayers, because if your post even brought a negative response you caused someone to think of something they would not have considered before and they thought it was important enough to post against. Good work and keep that research coming.

Equally fascinating: www.hiddenmeanings.com/wimpsandholyghost.htmIt talks about dark matter. Could "God" be hidden in the darkness? www.biblebb.com/files/tniv/DARKNESS.TXTPlaces where God tells us he hides himself in the darkness. But dark matter? 90% of the space in the universe is occupied by dark matter (theoretically.) The present world of material elements is 10%, a small percentage. The lesser is inferior to the greater; perhaps the greater gave rise to the lesser, by way of creations, formations, and makings. The greater is then "father", or prior cause, progenerator, of the lesser. Then, we would be the material children of a Father, the greater, hidden from our view, in a dimension of dark matter. Just some more ruminations. When I wake up later I may think: Perp, you mind bender. Give it up.

Why was the bust on Sgt Pepper a key componant of the original Blake sketches? I still see the buldge of a third eye on him, which leads me to this..... www.hiddenmeanings.com/singleeyepineal.htm "And the time will come when you see we're all one, and life flows on within you and without you." Do I get the trophy now, Apollo? "Why was the bust on Sgt Pepper a key componant of the original Blake sketches?" Answer is in this song, imo. WHO is the "Freedom Rider"? FREEDOM RIDER (Winwood/Capaldi) - "Traffic" "Like a hurricane around your heart When Earth and sky are torn apart, He comes gathering up the bits While hoping that the puzzle fits. He leads you, He leads you. Freedom rider With a silver star between his eyesThat open up at hidden lies Big man crying with defeat, See people gathering in the street You feel him, You feel him. Freedom rider When lightning strikes you to the bone, You turn around; you're all alone By the time you hear that siren sound, Then your soul is in the lost and found Forever, forever. Freedom rider. Here it comes!" (end) Commentary: The Freedom Rider comes "gathering up the bits" "when Earth and sky are torn apart." The "silver star" between his eyes (his third eye) allows him to see "hidden lies". At a time when (the) "big man" faces defeat, and people are gathering in the streets, you FEEL him. While hoping that "the puzzle fits" for you, he comes to lead you out of the chaos. By the time the "siren sounds" your soul is "lost" or "found". And he's represented on the cover of Sgt. Pepper peering out of the grave, as it were. Hmmm.
