Found a decent quality outtake photo and thought I'd compare it to the cover. They're scans of printed material, and have been zoomed in, so the quality is not great for fine detail, but I thought it still had some value. Or not Unfortunately, the outtake photo is distorted. . . . . . . .

Sadly, the outtake is not as clear as the used photo. It is hard to know what to make of it. From a glance, one almost wants to say its four different people, though Ringo looks typically.........himself. They are turned with the opposite profile, so you can't righfully compare because left and right profiles vary somewhat. Most people's don't match up. Paul's suit color is at variance. Or is it shadow, or loss of color i the available print? Or, was the shot that was used on the cover, "color corrected" before printing? John's hair is much more wild, bouffant in the trip to the rightof the pic. It is a lion's mane, shiny, fluffy, and looks full of Dippetty-Do. On the return trip to the left, John's hair loses it's Farrah Fawcett-Majors volume and settles flat and needs retaming. Yoko, grab a brush! Sorry, John looks old old old there. (Ignore me. That's merely how I vent the horror of discovering yet another NEW crow'sfoot this morning. I quit counting at 16. Not years. Crows feet. Ringo and John have shaving issues; facial hair looks a little varied but, guys will be guys, and I can misjudge a side-burn with the best of 'em. Paul's nose and chin seem a little different, not a lot, maybe it's from the head angle and change of side....the hair color, again, is at variance. Paul going to the left (the return trip), has more ash and gold high-lights. Paul going to the right has some gold-highlights, but seems to have a much darker shade of brunette going on. Bare foot going; sandals returning. The suit looksfresh out of the dry cleaners on the going right; returning Paul has a crimp in the jacket and part of the suit didn't photograph clearly. The hearse went away. What ever could that mean?

Interesting thoughts Doc...I'll try to post the whole image, it's pretty huge and I didn't want to reduce the quality too much...
I thought the background group on the left was interesting, wasn't it supposed to be a "three alive and one dead" clue? Well, in the cover I see four people there, maybe five. In the outtake photo, I see three people, one of them looks like it could be the woman in the blue dress.

The guy with the barefeet has a long neck, even if he was looking down, his chin would only come to his adams apple. The guy with the sandals has a short neck, his chin almost disappears into his shirt. The guy with the barefeet has hammer toes. The guy with the sandals doesnt. The guy with the barefeet has sideburns that cover his ear. The guy with the sandals has a gap between his sideburn and his ear. The guy in the brown jacket next to the black car, could he be this guy? This picture is from 1968. Johnny Hallyday usually wears his hair like Elvis Presley. Not down over his forehead like this. Could the brown jacket be his on stage costume, like the blue dress was Sylvie's?

woof. *ahem* clears throat
I mean, it could be. Maybe. I'll look again. Who'd you say? What picture was it you were talking about?
Sylvie Vartan didn't leave that man. Tha man in that picture above? No way. You'd have to be crazy.

Doc it is the enlarged 7th set of pictures down, one of the ones "moped" posted at the top of this thread, the guy in the brown/tan jacket. In the abbey picture he is on the right side.
Not "THE" Johnny Hallyday...but a look-a-like? A representation of Johnny Hallyday.
