I do not understand any more at the beginning you said that Paul died in a car accident, later you have to speak about kidnapping, and now he(it) would have committed suicide?? What would be the most likely version on its death? Thank you

He did not commit suicide. Many people think he died in a car accident because of the line "He blew his mind out in a car" from "A Day In the Life", and because of the song "Death Cab for Cutie". I personally think he drowned, or nearly drowned, in a situation like what's described in the Elton John song "Where To Now, St. Peter?" See: 60if.proboards21.com/index.cgi?board=60ifclues&action=display&thread=1123345299&page=5Nobody really knows for sure what happened to Paul. But the "A Pocketful of Stones" song on the David Gilmore album "On An Island" may hold a clue: "He's sending stones skimming and flying Circles spinning out his time Though the earth is dying his head is in the stars Chances are this spark's a lifetime
Out of touch he'll live in wonder Won't lose sleep he'll just pretend In his world he won't go under Turns without him until the end
Rivers run dry but there's no line on his brow Says he doesn't care who's saved It's just the dice you roll, the here and now And he's not guilty or afraid
One day he'll slip away Cool water flowing all around In the river and on the ground Leave a pocketful of stones and not believe in other lives
Until then he'll live in wonder He won't fight or comprehend In his world he won't go under Turns without him until the end"(end)
