Here a passage of text which I have to find in 60if: "It was very early in the Wednesday morning of the week after we received the call, but not the one we had been waiting for. We were called out to identify Paul's body, found on a beach near Outreau, North France. With his feet just below his knees as a result of a fall from a great altitude. " Here my questions: What made Paul in France? Why it would be to fall from the great height?? of a cliff? one would have made it fall? a suicide?

Paul had a GREAT love affair with Sylvie Vartan (the true one...) Sylvie married not happy Johnny Halliday. Johnny knew about the love among Paul and Sylvie and killed Sylvie for jealosy (... he was just a jealous guy....) Paul went France (september 1966) and killed Johnny Halliday to revenge Sylvie. (happiness was a warm gun....) He was repentant living alone as a fool for days upon a hill near Nice. Someone got France to catch the "WANTED" killer Paul McCartney.... That was a Death Cab ( a white VolksWagen ) For Cutie All of them were replaced by lookalikes.

Hi Sun King !
Is this the solution you are hiding from us all the time ?
This leaves more questions than answers !
What were the reasons for the judges to cover all these crimes when several people were killed ?
Who killed Paul - or was it a suicide ?
Who killed Brian Epstein ?
Why - and for what reasons were they all replaced with doubles ?
Iolotte asked : "Why it would be to fall from the great height?? of a cliff? one would have made it fall? a suicide?"
Sometimes the real story is more surprising than fiction - but after your given comments i must really ask this to clear some points in this bizarre case...

and what happened to the mysterious medical condition that supposedly killed paul?? that's in the 60IF document too........
a document that i'm begining to feel should be completely discarded. about the only part of it i now believe is its recreation of the body recovery scene- ringo and john arriving seperately, and john's "i'm the walrus!" outburst. the rest of it is a surreal jumble of confusing details. the complete version [if there is one] is now long overdue, can we finally shift this TKIN effort into high gear???

Actually, I think that Sun King is not far off.. I don't think that Johnny Halliday died. As it was told in Rocky Racoon: Now somewhere in the black mountain hills of Dakota There lived a young boy named Rocky Raccoon And one day his woman ran off with another guy Hit young Rocky in the eye, Rocky didn't like that He said I'm gonna get that boy So one day he walked into town Booked himself a room in the local saloon Rocky Raccoon checked into his room Only to find Gideon's bible Rocky had come equipped with a gun To shoot off the legs of his rival His rival it seems had broken his dreams By stealing the girl of his fancy Her name was Magil and she called herself Lil But everyone knew her as Nancy (Sylvie)Now she and her man who called himself Dan (Jean-Philippe Smet called himself Johnny Halliday)Were in the next room at the hoe down Rocky burst in and grinning a grin He said Danny boy this is a showdown But Daniel was hot - he drew first and shot And Rocky collapsed in the corner Now the doctor came in stinking of gin And proceeded to lie on the table He said Rocky you met your match And Rocky said, doc it's only a scratch And I'll be better, I'll be better doc as soon as I am able Now Rocky Raccoon he fell back in his room Only to find Gideon's bible Gideon checked out and he left it no doubt To help with good Rocky's revival In other words, Paul couldn't get over Sylvie's marriage with Johnny Halliday, went to France and met his match.. Paul got shot, but wasn't seriously injured. The Gideon's bible verse is probably a key to what happened to Paul afterwards that got him killed. Some more pictures of Johnny Halliday during the years (looks like the same man to me!): a little face lift? For Johnny, happiness truely is a warm gun! For some reason I think he might have got something to do with Sylvie's death in the aftermath of his confrontation with Paul, felt sorry afterwards and tried to commit suicide..

As for as I know Gideon's bible is a standard hotelroom bible.
Maybe Gideon stands for Brian, who they could rely on like a bible. He went to France to get Paul back. After arriving at the hotel, he took care of things and checked out, leaving a message that he would bring him back, thus leaving no doubt in good Rocky's revival.
Btw how much of a coincidence is it that the man living in Paul's childhood home today is called Johnny Haliday?

You think it's dopey? I think it's a typical Vaudeville-Faul kinda song.. I think the 'Black mountain Hills in Dakota' start of the song is a clue as well: from wikipedia:
"The Black Hills of Dakota" is a song, written for the musical film Calamity Jane, about the singer's love for, and desire to return to, the Black Hills of South Dakota. The most notable recording of the song was done by Doris Day, issued both on the soundtrack album of the film and as a single.
From the plot of Calamity Jane (played by Doris Day): She finds the theatre where Adelaid Adams is giving a farewell performance. Adelaid is all too grateful that it's her last night, and gives her costumes to her maid, Katie Brown. When Adelaid is gone, Katie tries on one of her dresses, and starts to sing. When Calamity walks in, Katie thinks at first that she's a man (in those days, if a woman dressed the way Calam does, they could be considered mad). Katie tricks Calam into thinking she is Adelaid Adams so she can fulfill her wish of being on stage.
But to get back on topic: Sun King, if you read this, could you please tell us what makes you think Johnny Halliday was replaced as well?

it's like every single clue out there points to either a replaced person, a female impersonator, or both.

This is my opinion. I noticed that the incident of Johnny Hallyday trying to commit suicide in Sept 66 after his son was born in August isnt mentioned very often. Not very many articles tell about his attempt anymore. I also noticed the first thing Sylvie did after that was record a song called "By love by pity." is this why she stayed with Johnny instead of going with Paul? She felt sorry for Johnny because he tried to kill himself?
April 11, 1968, Sylvie was in a car accident. In Sylvie's press release it said that a friend of Sylvie's died. You know I use to be able to find the name of the woman they said died in the car accident, but I have been searching all night and cant find it now. It just says a friend. It use to say the name of the woman. I think it was Paul who died in that accident and Sylvie's press said it was a woman and thats what started the confusion. John Lennon was really piss because it was Paul who died in that accident, not a woman. He didnt like the idea that the French made Paul a woman in Sylvie's accident. I think that Paul and Sylvie tried to get away at this time. Was Johnny Hallyday to blame for the accident? Around this time Johnny Hallyday sang a lot of songs about going to prison for killing a man. Could that man have been Paul?

Mercedes Calmel was her name... name like a car, died in a car. Supossed to have been a long time friend of Sylvies. But I believe Sylvie died the year before, somewhere in 1966.
About Johnny's suicide-attempt: On September 10th 1966, genuinely depressed, he tried to commit suicide. A little later he brought out "Noir c'est noir", a reflection on the depressed state he had been in. One happy event must have comforted him, however: the birth of his son David on August 14th.
On a Sylvie fansite it says: The weeks following the birth of his son, Johnny couldn’t get used to being a father. He even said he preferred to go out with his old pals. Sylvie looked after their son alone. Things were getting worse and she filed for divorce. When he learned of it, Johnny was at a party with friends. Already shaken by tax problems and declining success, he broke down. He locked himself in the bathroom and took some pills. At the emergency room, Sylvie arrived, crying. Eventually, they reconciled.
Btw 'Par amour par pitie' (By Love By Pity) was written for Johnny Halliday, Sylvie liked it so much that she recorded it.
Jilli, could you give us some examples of Johnny H. songs about going to prison for killing a man?

And how does this picture fit in? To me it looks like Paul being trapped inside this relationship-gone-bad with Sylvie. Resulting in the use of a rifle and a garland (is that what it's called?) for the deceased. And again a hint of travesty...

I did have it posted at one time I will see if I can find it again. as for UP AGAINST IT...from this web page: www.beatlesagain.com/breflib/joeorton.htmlMcCartney's assessment, quoted in Carr, was different: "The reason why we didn't do Up Against It wasn't because it was too far out or anything. We didn't do it because it was gay. We weren't gay and really that was all there was to it. It was quite simple, really. Brian was gay...and so he and the gay crowd could appreciate it. Now, it wasn't that we were anti-gay -- just that we, The Beatles, weren't gay."

I know Jilli, but that was Faul's assessment. Paul was a supporter of Joe Orton, since he could appreciate fine arts much more than Faul. I see that as a critical distinction between the two of them.. Paul loved Stockhausen, Faul loves vaudeville, cocktailjazz and looney tunes. Speaking of which, wasn't the mysterious murder on Joe Orton the inspiration for Maxwell's Silver Hammer? On the link you provided I came across a play called "The Silver Bullet", didn't know that one... that's where the silver comes from!
Still very curious about those Johnny H. lyrics, and I'm also still very curious why Sunking thinks that Johnny H. was replaced.
I'm trying to figure out what happened to Sylvie... she may have been dead allready, could be the reason for Eleanor Rigby and I'm Looking Through You. More later...
