Six degrees of separation time: From this RS article: When John Paul Jones, an arranger and bassist who had worked with Page on Donovan's "Sunshine Superman," heard about the new band, he called Page to say he was eager to join....Sunshine Superman was written "in honor of The Beatles", as recounted by someone who met Donovan while he was there with The Beatles. Also regarding Jones: He made a reputation playing on sessions for the Kinks, the Who, Them, the Pretty Things, Herman's Hermits and Donovan, among others. In the loop at the very least?

Something for you Byrds, and he posted this to his blog but an hour or two before you.. LinkOne of the comments reads in part: however, as an old design instructor used to advise me: its always better to reach too far with a concept, because you can always ‘reign it in.’ Sorta like casting a fishing line: if you cast too close to shore, you’re not going to get the ‘big fish’. Zep was all about the big ideas…Hmm, agree with that, although it ain't easy is it?
