People make such a big deal about Paul's sudden height jump on the Sgt. Pepper photos. Well, I don't know why nobody else realizes this, but there was a platform of some sort behind the Sgt. Pepper bass drum. This is why Paul appears taller...because he is physically standing on top of it. And here's proof: Here's George and Paul both standing on it...George is TALLER than Paul, and over a head taller than Ringo (which we know what not the case in real life). In this photo from the same session, you can see Paul and George standing RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER and they are the same height...in fact, George is a bit taller. In this photo, you can physically SEE the platform that John and Ringo are standing on. Paul is way closer to the camera than Ringo, yet Ringo is much taller than him. In fact, Ringo is taller than everyone in the photo, yet he was the shortest Beatle. It's because he's standing on the platform (look at his shoe, you can clearly see a green box of some sort). Also, you can see Paul resting his foot on it. And now, in THIS photo, you can see that George is the one standing on the platform and now he is tallest. You can also see John's foot on the platform as well. And now you can see once again that Ringo is on the platform and he is the tallest of all Beatles. This is photo evidence that Paul did not get taller. There was simply a box or something on the set of the Pepper shoot that he was standing on.

People also like to make a big deal about Paul getting shorter in MMT as well., i`m sure both John & George must have owned a pair of cuban heels at some point, I agree, I`ve always found the height difference argument a bit lame also.

Shoulder to shoulder is the only reliable reference in shots.
