First post - Interesting site I must say. I spent the past two days mulling over many threads. I had heard of the PID theories, but never really paid much attention to it, until this past weekend when I stumbled across the site.
I imagine that this topic may have been researched, but I did not find a thread on it.
While browsing through the multitude of threads I ran across a link to the smoking gun that included a legal document (affidavit) signed by McCartney in late 1998.

I then searched for other McCartney signatures prior to 1966. The majority of signatures include the full name, which is a normal thing to do for autograph purposes, but I found a link to an older signature and the similarities are amazing.

I would tend to trust the authenticity of the signature on the affidavit due to the legalities of the document. If any members are handwriting experts, it would be interesting to have a professional opinion reported.
I'm also not to sure how easy it is for people to copy signatures, especially when many of the autographs are written in haste and on a random basis.
