Just one more person's life that Faul has ruined. If Faul would've pulled his head out of his ass for one moment, he would've realized that Michael has some MAJOR issues with his appearence. When that's the case, you try to come to terms with your feelings of inadequacy, before you start talking to surgeons !!! Because Michael didn't do this, he now looks like freak. I think it's terrible !!! I think that deep down inside, Michael is a sweet man. He's just got MAJOR issues dealing with love & getting emotionally attached to his peers. I believe THIS is why he prefers the company of children... Poor Michael, poor Faul... Both living crippled lives... All we need is love & THE TRUTH !!!! Chris

Ok i'd just like to correct a few of you on a point that has come up again and again (don't know how many of you are from England so i thought i'd be the one to bring this up!)
Whenever it was that the Beatles first met the Queen (was it 65? i forget) they each recieved an MBE, Member of the British Empire. This is one of the lowest awards you can recieve from the Queen.
more recently (wasn't it in 1998?), McCartney recieved a Knighthood, a very high recognition of his services to music in this case. None of the other beatle were knighted becuase, well quite frankly, the only other one worth knighting would have been Lennon but a) he was dead, and b) he rejected his MBE in the sixties and was always anti- establishment anyway.
Not too important but just thought i'd bring this up as it didn't seem to be too clear from what i'd read!
Oh yeah - saw mccartney outside his house day before yesterday - what fun!!
Where's everyone else from on this board then??

Knighted - was it a posthumous award? But if Billy was really knighted it would have been for services rendered to Queen and country; that is to say - stopped a scandlous international incident, chaos and misery and suicide amongst teenagers at the time and so on. As reagrds the potential suicide angle, believe me, this is not an exageration. If you knew how teenage girls felt about The Beatles and Paul in particular at the time - most don't remember now just how powerful Beatlemania really was...if you can get hold of an old tape of The Beatles performing before 1966 (there's old "Ready Steady Go" tapes in existence for instance) and you'll see what I mean.

You know I used to like O Darling a lot-but now i think its whiney and shrill. I used to like Hey Jude a lot--and notwithstanding the fact that I think that Lennon and Harrison and maybe a bit of the real Paul are helping out on the recording, I think that it is a tad whiney and shrill, but yes there are several Paul songs that I have liked over the years. Having said that, I wish I had the rights to a fist full of John and George unpublished music and the audio tapes of any demo's, especiall stuff from around revolver through The Beatles because I would produce the recordings under my own name and I bet that I could make popular and successful albums until the material ran out and I bet Id earn the money to hire out for material once the good Beatle stuff ran out. With the right surgerym maybe I could be Madonna. ( I do know a woman who claims to know Madonna and she claims that the woman who we see as Madonna on tour is not Madonna but an imposter. She claims the real Madonna is a nervous wreck and not able to perform because is terrified for her life. Well she sort of claims that the real Madonna has been easing back into public life over the past few years after a few years hiatus resulting from her intense fear of assassination. ) Id need to dye my hair.
