Ok not really, but in a flight of imagination I thught what if this painting from August of 1967 now looks like the monstrosity at the end of the Oscar Wilde novel "The Picture of Dorian Gray"? In case you are wondering, that story was about a young man who has a painting done of him when he is young and handsome, pretty much a flawless face. He makes a wish while touching an ancient Egyptian relic that the painting should get old while he stays eternally young. Well the wish comes true, but not only does the painting get old, it also shows all the evil things he has done in his life and turns into a grotesque monstrosity. Does Faul have this painting in a secret study upstairs?? This is from "The Art of the Beatles", Mike Evans, 1984. Out of print, lucky me I found it in a local library! I may have to scan the whole thing, much as I hate the idea of something so tedious. The artist seems to have captured the "face gone long" and weird how the long coat is almost blood red. Any other observations?
