LongJohn,
Right on the money, yes. The signal to noise ratio here is dwindling to the point that there is almost no "signal" left. Why don't you do this, or do that, is said. Well, why don't you? Very simple, that is not something the critics of our methods and work are willing to do, they stick to attacks. As a matter of fact, I have seen one poster follow the script for "how to debunk" almost to the letter, almost every one of the methods outlined here: 60if.proboards21.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1070740534
Your feeling of wanting to leave is understandable, I'm almost at that point myself. I did indeed spend my own money and time on this, and was trying to make a small contribution. I'm not being Mr. false modesty, what I did with my posts was indeed a very small part of what is needed from everybody. the efforts of a few are not enough, way more need to contribute. Some things that make there way here from the members of the board are very helpful and some perhaps went in the wrong direction, but that is part of a learning process. What happens is that the weak material is descended upon by the trolls and debunkers like a pack of hungry wolves, rather than an intelligent civilized critiquing by other contributers. It should be like, OK, that wasn't a good point, perhaps you should go in this direction instead. No, it's more "that was so stupid, you must be a bunch of naive simpletons for even believing this nonsense." That's to be expected, and it should be ignored, after all this is a board that's open to all. How else would you get new contributions?
We do our best with the resources we have, we don't have Faul's house bugged, we don't have access to top secret files from the British Secret Service, we don't have Faul's fingerprints from the Japanese drug bust, and probably never will unless someone with that material comes forward. The idea always was: enough of us put or brains and material together, we may end up with enough proof. We don't know, or have any way of knowing right now if that is even possible. It's just a room where we throw our ideas around that's all. If it becomes nothing but a bitch fest well then who needs it.. Sorry...
