Sorry if this is an old idea...
Hell, maybe the rest of the Beatles were brainwashed too. Maybe the lyrics they came up with weren't intentionally clues, but instead was their subconcious trying to tell them.
Maybe they all figured it out eventually...
I believe Lennon once said "They created LSD to control us but it freed us instead", or something to that effect. Now, I'm not sure when he said this, so if anyone wouldn't mind sharing a date, I'd appreciate it (it help me know if I could use this qoute or not)
If Bill was brainwashed, it explain why he did such a good job in interviews lying about being James Paul. Reason why I say this? My grandfather is a pretty wise man. He used to work for be a journalist for a paper around here in the 60s. He (some how) got a hold of "Paul" and asked him about it. "Paul" was happy to talk (although I think he was still pretty pissed about the whole ordeal) and...trust me, it's not easy to get around my grandpa with lies.
I'm not saying that this is definitive proof or anything, and I know it sounds kind of farfetched, but I'm just tossing around an idea.
Peace, Otacon

Sorry, I can't really get it right now. I could probably try to get it from a library or something, but I doubt my library would have papers that old (my library isn't the greatest ) I'd ask him myself about it (or bug my dad to) but my grandfather is in ailing health, and I don't really want to concern him with such matters right now. As far as I know, the conversation was about...well, he (my grand dad) asked him something like ''Did Paul McCartney die", and 'Paul' responded "Of course not. I mean, I'm right here." or (again) something to that effect. I'm really sorry I'm not able to get specifics, I do apologize for that. Otacon

It's quite possible a certain amount of hypnotic suggestions and mind control techniques were used to help them all keep the deception so that their consciences wouldn't start to give them away.
Also, to tell that someone is lying, you sometimes have to be pretty on the ball. Some people are very good at it. In acting, you get into the mind of the character, you create a "suspension of disbelief" - that is, assume the basic premise that you are such and such a character even though you are not really - and then play from there and so such a person who does this may come across as honest and sincere, assuming a basic premise which is in fact a fantasy. Does that make sense?
And sometimes they may need a little help from aforementioned mind control etc to keep their own internal feelings in a suspension of disbelief.

...wihich implies, to me at this moment, that if PID were to be true, then in Paul's frame of reality, he really means it and we're nuts.
Of course, if Paul is alive, he really, really means it and we're, nuts to him, but really just well, swept away, for some reason, by these ideas.
But I won't say nuts, because, I think "nuts" is in the eye of the beholder. (or is that "nuts are"?)
or is it Eye's just nuts? or eyes nuts? I's nuts?
All that proves that I am , indeed, a little nuts, but that is long established, so back to my blog.
All this to point up that each person's reality is a little different. Because it is modified by what we believe.
"Mind Control" was (is) designed, I have read, to influence what we believe, and what we will do.
And, my guess is, that it comes in varying grades. TV can be mind controlling (or affecting), as well as movies, mags, meetings, Madison Avenue, and microwaves. This mode is for the masses; millions might be mentally molded, meddled, and maintained. (If it has ever been developed to this level.)
(...why am I seeing the letter "M" in my head? It's floating around the room...)
I musn't mention much more in this mein. I need to mull over this mess and mend it mindfully........
Brought to you by the Letter "M", "M" really matters.
