On the other side of the comparisons: I've yet to see any age-corrected photos of the 22-24 year old Paul into the 64 year old Paul. Althought the evidence to date is beyond contradiction , this may be a comparison to cause skeptics a re-think of their position.
Faul just looks like he is hiding something, in his eyes, Paul was always relaxed, looking like he owned the world and was self assured, and exuded confidence. He would stand with his thumbs in his belt loop. Faul has always looked like he was confused are trying to find himself or hiding something.
I agree with you on the body language issue. If you compare the LA press conference in '66 body language with that of the EMI interviews in December '66 you would never guess that only 4 months had lapsed. The LA meeting was after the horrible experience they had in the Phillipines while still stomping out the flames of the Jesus controversy. Yet they are still the same guys They were not dismissive of touring, or talking to reporters at length (although there is a great snippet at the end where Paul wears down a Dick Clark talking head). They are very witty, confident and united. Business as usual. There is actually a question regarding REPLACEMENTS posed to Paul. He says that they broached the idea to Brian, but it was nixed. The EMI interviews show something different. The Beatles all arrive separately and they are all nervously chirping the same party line, even Ringo. No more touring...no one can hear us...not what we really want to do...(Faul looks completely different). The confidence is gone and there is something definitely lacking (like the real Paul?).
