Dear all, I am a life-long Beatles fan who is currently in a state of shock concerning the revelation that Paul McCartney, post 1966, is NOT Paul McCartney. I have been poring over Beatle lyrics recently and of course I am seeing things in a new light. However, I began to wonder if Faul had dropped any clues in his solo/Wings lyrics. I haven't been able to read much about this since most of the attention is focused on John's Beatles clues/lyrics. I would like to direct attention in the direction of possible "guilty conscience" clues that Faul might've given us. For starters, I would like to offer a lyric from Wings' "Venus and Mars" album, from the song "Rock Show":
"What's that man holding in his hand? It looks a lot like a guy I knew way back when It's Silly WILLY with the Philly band Could be. Ooh wee."
Just a start, but I would love to hear from the collective brain out there to see if more clues can be dug up concerning Faul/William (Silly Willy) Sheppard, in his "own" words. -Thank you

think about the name of the band: "paul mccartney and wings" that could very well be a statement saying that the real paul now has wings, becuase he is in heaven!

Eggman, thank you for your welcome and your approval of the "Silly Willy" offering.
Number 9, you're right about the name "Wings." I hadn't thought of it that way, but this whole forum is challenging me to look at things I thought were well-established in a new way.
Consider this, concerning the recurring "egg" references:
Wings' 1979 album entitled "Back to the Egg" -This has obvious references to "I am the Walrus," as well as a more tenuous reference to the theory of "Goo goo goo joob" and Humpty Dumpty with Paul cracking his head open in the car crash.
-Also, I was mulling over some of my favorite Faul recordings yesterday, and I found another obvious clue...even maybe a taunt from Faul himself. The lyric is from the "Cold Cuts" release (circa 1977) by Faul, who goes by the name "Macca." The song is called "Did we Meet Somewhere Before?":
"Did we meet somewhere before? Far behind that half-closed door Or is this just one more thing that's happening To both of us...
Happening time and time again Happening over and over WILL ALL THE KING'S HORSES AND ALL THE KING'S MEN EVER FIND OUT WHAT IT'S ABOUT?"
-So here is a clear reference to Humpty Dumpty (Paul's crash and head injury) and to the fact that something is covered up and needs to be solved and exposed.
-Thanks everyone

17thBeatles, Thanks for pointing out those lyrics. Hadn't read them before. Lots of lyrics I haven't looked too closely at, sure there's heaps of new clues still to be found. But...Paul didn't die in a car crash from a head injury. He was kidnapped along with Brian Epstein and died as he was suffering from IBS and didn't have access to his medication. Have you read the story?

Paul Bearer,
Thanks for pointing that out. I did read the story and I wasn't aware of the IBS angle. My first introduction into the Paul/Faul situation contained a fatal car crash, but I am still learning. I see that Paul and Brian were kidnapped and they subsequently tried to eliminate Paul's body and failed. That's why I'm here... to learn... and hopefully learn the truth. Thanks again. Incidentally, can you point me to the source of the IBS theory?

I got it from Sun_King who has access to ALL the documents (of which the story link is just a small portion) and I think, as he studies them, he learns more.
But the evidence of IBS is in him waring diapers in 65 and 66; for instance there's evidence in the "Help" movie.

Thank you. I am going to look into this for my edification. (Sun_King/Help). Also, it's been so long since I've seen "Help." I know I will see it in a different way now.

Here's a link to a picture where Paul appears to be wearing a diaper. Not only is his back-side bulginf unusually, but you can see a little outline around the top of his leg, and in the rest of the sequence his pants look very matted in the front like something smooth is bulging underneath; poor guy. www.anycities.com/user/uberkinder/pauldiaper.html

Thank you Paul Bearer, Number 9 and Uberkinder...
You know, now that I've seen the picture from "Another Girl"/Help, I remember wondering (years ago) why Paul's bottom looked so large. Of course, I would never think twice or look too much into it, but back then I thought that today's Faul really was Paul. Really, I am still in shock when I realize, not so much that Paul was replaced by a doppelganger (almost), but that I was so blind and under such a spell that I couldn't even hope to see the obvious differences. Thanks again everyone. I've learned more here in two days than I have in 20 years.

Good morning everyone,
I just wanted to share some chilling lyrics I found in Faul's 1982 "Tug of War" album. The track is called "Be What You See(Link)." It is only 33 seconds long and it consists of only 12 words, repeated once:
"THE ONE YOU WANTED TO BE IS NOW THE ONE YOU SEE
THE ONE YOU WANTED TO BE IS NOW THE ONE YOU SEE."
The "song" is a bumper for another song called "Dress Me Up As A Robber.":
Well You Can Dress Me Up As A Robber But I Won't Be In Disguise Only Love Is A Robber And He Lives Within Your Eyes Ooh, Ooh Eee Ooh
You Can Dress Me Up As A Sailor But I'll Never Run To Sea As Long As Your Love Is Available To Me What Do I Do With A Sea Of Blue? Ooh, Eee Ooh
Dressing Me Up It Doesn't Make A Difference What You Want To Do Whichever Way You Look At It I'm Still In Love With You If We Go On Forever I May Never Make A Change
Dressing Me Up And If I Don't Convince You You Needn't Look Too Far To See That I'm Not Lying 'Cos I Love You The Way You Are And What's The Point Of Changing When I'm Happy As I Am?
Well You Can Dress Me Up As A Soldier But I Wouldn't Know What For I Was The One That Told You He Loved You Don't Wanna Go To Another War No, No, No
In this song, Faul talks about being passively "dressed up" as a Robber, a Sailor and a Soldier. For the Robber, I can only think of the cover of "Band on the Run," and the fact that he stole Paul's identity. Please help me with any Beatle references that might fit. For the Sailor: Yellow Submarine. For the Soldier: Sgt. Pepper.
"Well You Can Dress Me Up As A Robber But I Won't Be In Disguise Only Love Is A Robber And He Lives Within Your Eyes"
In this stanza, Faul is admitting that he is a thieving charlatan: "But I won't be in disguise." And with the line "Only love is a robber/And he lives within your eyes" He is referring to the fact that the loyal fans who loved Paul are blinded by their love and cant/don't want to see that Paul is gone and an imposter has taken his place.
In the second stanza, Faul is telling his "fans" that he can no longer go back to the "sea" of mediocrity and obscurity which was his life as Silly Willy Sheppard, as long as he has their global admiration. (Not to mention the money).
"You Can Dress Me Up As A Sailor But I'll Never Run To Sea As Long As Your Love Is Available To Me What Do I Do With A Sea Of Blue?"
In the ensuing chorus, Faul just reinforces this sentiment, as well as reinforcing the passivity of being "dressed up" and manipulated. However, he makes it clear that he's eager to please and eager to stay the course in the wonderful life of Paul McCartney.:
"Dressing Me Up It Doesn't Make A Difference What You Want To Do Whichever Way You Look At It I'm Still In Love With You IF WE GO ON FOREVER I MAY NEVER MAKE A CHANGE
Dressing Me Up And If I Don't Convince You You Needn't Look Too Far To See That I'm Not Lying 'Cos I Love You The Way You Are AND WHAT'S THE PONT OF CHANGING WHEN I'M HAPPY AS I AM?"
In the final stanza, where Faul is passively dressed as a soldier, (Sgt. Pepper), he may be referring to artistic and personal confrontations with John, for obvious reasons, and that if he were to admit that he isn't Paul McCartney, he would surely face a "war" in the press and in the courts. Also, he could be referring to the fact that he can no longer be "dressed up" as the Canadian "soldier" (Sgt. Sheppard) and be exposed to the rigors of military life which he surely experienced before becoming Faul. Perhaps it was during his stint in the Canadian military/police that he injured his chin and jaw. In any case, he is clearly telling us that he is being manipulated by forces greater than him, and that he doesn't much mind because being Paul McCartney is better than being a Canadian zero.
"Well You Can Dress Me Up As A Soldier But I Wouldn't Know What For I Was The One That Told You He Loved You Don't Wanna Go To Another War No, No, No"

Thanks 17thBeatle for the interpretation of those lyrics.
Yes, I'd seen those opening chilling words before but had never gotten around to posting them.
I'm sure there's heaps of clues on heaps more lyrics.
I think in some ways Faul feels quite trapped in Paul's identity. As well as some deliberate gaffs in interviews (just to see if anyone would notice) he puts these clues in as well but people have remained blind...until now!

Hi Chris! Thanks so much for the encouragement, I really appreciate it. I'm definitely going to rent or buy "Help" as soon as I can. It's been so long since I've seen it, I just know I will see it in a much different way now. Thanks again.

Be careful what you buy. I'm in the same predicament. I purchased Help !!! I thought I was buying the original 1965 release. However, when I received the confirmation from amazon, it said it was the 1995 release. I can only hope that they haven't tampered with Paul in it. I also was forced to purchase the 1995 release of A Hard Day's Night. Again, I'm hoping to be looking at Paul's face rather then a mock-up of Faul's... This whole situation is surreal. I've been in it for at least 2 mos. I STILL feel shell shocked. I've been downloading videos off of Kazaa ( bad girl !!! )... Even some of the Ed Sullivan Show tapes have been altered. Paul's eye spacing has been narrowed ( using shadow ). His chin lenghtened, his cheeks given a deeper crease. All in an effort to make him look like a young Faul McWannabe... It makes me sick inside to watch them, so I don't. All of those wonderful early performances of the Beatles. And I can't watch one of them... Those bastards... Love to all... Chris

I have some Beatles trading cards straight from the sixties, and they're all of the time before Faul, but now I'm not sure if it's really Paul...I'll attempt to scan them and show them to you guys, but in the meantime I'll analyze them myself. I just hope they haven't tampered with the awesome pics of Paul... Peace and love... ~Paibb

Didn't Paul sail a boat or have a boat? So the soldier could be Paul who ran to sea in France and died in/near the sea So as long as Faul is accepted/loved why should Faul die (figuratively) too? Someone posted Faul on a boat on his 1st album with cranberries as if he was the new captain.

I have to say here that it has been a long time since I have been here...and I am glad I found you again! Yes, The Taxman has returned! I couldn't find you for so long but here you are and the information just seems to continue to pile up...I want to go to England this year and try to get something on this continuing story and investigation...I have many Brit friends who have the same thing going on over there that Paul was dead within just a few years of the advent of the Beatle era and the imposter was brought in by the group with all consent from them...a large clue to all this is one from a radio show here in LA on which the host a very famous and heavy weight fan of the Beatles and Hugh asked Faul for his autograph ON THE AIR and Faul said he was asked all the time and has refused for so many years now...for real!! Of course the reason for that is that he can't sign anything with Pauls signature and he is NOT left handed!!...right there on the network radio!! BTW...the wall from the Ed Sullivan show with all their autographs was recently sold after the building came down and it went for millions...Faul had nothing to say about the "experience" of being on the Sullivan show as their first tv appearance in the states...of course, because he wasn't there... the House of Cards is falling!!! See you soon with more stuff...!!!
