Anyone remember John's last onstage appearance? He made a guest apperance at an Elton John Concert at Madison Square Garden. Just before their last song together John Lennon says he is going to "get outta here to be safe" and they are going to perform a song from an estranged fiance named Paul, and says it's an old Beatle's number. They go on to play "When I saw her standing there." This can all be heard on the Elton John concert CD. But my question is, can anything be taken from the phrase "an estranged fiance named Paul"?

When was the concert? It seems as though little by little John was giving the game away. That's probably why they had to kill him.

He was all ready to blow the whistle! When he first started working on "Double Fantasy" it was done in secret, away from Yoko. He had a whole batch of songs about Faul he was going to put in but then...Yoko found out and went ballistic, charged in and took control, replaced John's clue songs with her own and about the only think remaining was the sneaky title (which really means "Fantasy of a Double"). Go to Double Fantasy: The Inside Story.

don't know about the studio thing...haven't heard much about jack douglas since "Double Fantasy"....but as for Sam Havadtoy....he was her companion for quite sometime....but he was also gay...double fantasy actually has several meanings....it is a flower...and 2 people having the same thought, dream or fantasy at the same time....you would think that the musicians would have said something after all this time about her controlling ways...

To quote the musical "Evita" slightly, the evidence suggests Yoko had other interests.
Fred Seaman brought out the info about her affair with Sam Green from 1976 to 1980, but there is also other information obtained from an anonymous friend in the Hungarian press corps.
In June 1981, Sam Havadtoy (a bisexual) and Yoko, both of whom having become lovers in the past few months, went off to Budapest to meet Sam's mother. According to this source, though it was kept secret, Yoko and Sam were married in Hungary. According to other sources, the wedding may have actually taken place in 1986 or around 1991 or so. However, it is confirmed that Yoko and Sam are married. They separated briefly in 2002, but if true, they are still married.
How a former blatant homosexual can stay in a heterosexual marriage for so long is beyond me, if it actually took place in 1981.

Again we go with 'sources'....the National Enq. has it 'sources' too...what source...what paper...had to be a marraige certificate somewhere...fred seaman is a realiable source...he and a friend hatch the "project walrus" soon after john died...to discredit yoko...buying drugs from dealers saying it was for her...Her and sam may have become lovers...i know he lived in the dakota with her...but i don't think she would jepardize her 'lennon widow' status by remarrying..around 1986 or 1991 broad jump there...as far as i know they are still separated....and by the way-what is a 'blatant' homosexual? If they were married-perhaps he stayed in it so long because if nothing else close companions......not all relationships are based on sex......
