it looks like John wasn't the only one putting clues in his Songs.
Look at the lyrics from 'while my guitar gently weeps'
I look at you all see the love there that's sleeping While my guitar gently weeps I look at the floor and I see it needs sweeping Still my guitar gently weeps I don't know why nobody told you how to unfold your love I don't know how someone controlled you They bought and sold you. (is he talking about us or Faul)
I look at the world and I notice it's turning (the world went on without Paul) While my guitar gently weeps With every mistake we must surely be learning (Faul getting too cocky?) Still my guitar gently weeps I don't know how you were diverted (pertaining to the kidnapping?) You were perverted too I don't know how you were inverted (surely Faul) No one alerted you.
I look at you all see the love there that's sleeping While my guitar gently weeps Look at you all... Still my guitar gently weeps.

Hi spanky!! In the old forum many of us had posted George' clues. For example I posted the song "Blood from a clone" from "Somewhere in England" album that is a great George's clue for me. The observation you've done is perfect!!! ;D I think that George was "softer" than John placing clues.

He was also more scared then John was... John was a very brave man. I have nothing but the greatest respect for him. I think once he realized what really happened ( once Paul's death had sunken in ) he was mortified... John was a very sensitive man. He put on a brave front, but this was because he was the oldest, he was their leader. I'm sure he felt responsible for what happened to Paul... WTG Spanky !!! I think George was referring to Faul & Paul in this song... Love to all... Chris ;D

also, on the line "I look at the floor and I see it needs sweeping" if you listen to the song, it actually sounds like he says "I look at the FAUL and I see it needs sweeping" yes, surely faul does need sweeping!

With every mistake we must surely be learning (Faul getting too cocky?) I think that that line could mean that they realize how big of a mistake replacing Paul was, and they learned from it.

i don't think "gently weeps" is alluding to faulpaul. i think it comes from george's evolving worldview influenced by his drug use and exposure to eastern mysticism, like all his songs from that time ("within you without you", "love you to").
HOWEVER, on the subject of George, has anyone listened closely to his final album? it was recorded as he was dying, so if he was going to leave clues that would be the time to do it. and consider the suspiscous album title, "brainwashed"...
i've never heard it but if someone has it it might be worth some scrutiny.
