RE: JoJo's post, "Death cab for cutie" Sorry, I had to say that. No apologies necessary! ;D Don't know where my mind was to miss that one. That's the refrain the singer keeps saying over and over, "death cab for cutie", wow... Also, "someday soon you gonna have to pay your bill, uh huh huh". Are there lyrics for this fine piece of work anywhere? I could try to transcribe it myself, but it would probably be a bit spotty.

Ok, read the lyrics for "Death Cab for Cutie" here if you so desire: bridge.anglia.ac.uk/~systimk/music/bonzos/Tracks/Death-Cab.Htmlx#roomThat link doesn't work anymore it seems. Here are the lyrics: That night Cutie called a cab. Baby, don't do it She left her East Side room so drab. Baby, don't do it She went out alone in town Knowing it would make her lover frown. Death cab for Cutie Death cab for Cutie Someone's going to make you pay your fare. The cab was racing through the night. Baby, don't do it His eyes, they were keeping Cutie in sight. Baby, don't do it When he saw Cutie it gave him a thrill Don't you know that baby cabs can kill? Death cab for Cutie Death cab for Cutie Someone's going to make you pay your fare. Cutie, don't you play with fate. Don't you leave your love alone. If you go out on this date His heart will turn to stone. Bad girl Cutie, what have you done? Baby, don't do it Slipping, sliding down on Highway 31. Baby, don't do it The traffic lights change from green to red. They tried to stop but they both wound up dead. Death cab for Cutie Death cab for Cutie Someone's going to make you pay your fare. Someone's going to make you pay your fare. Someone's going to make you pay your fare Someone's going to make you pay your fare.

"Death cab for cutie"? Paul = cute Beatle "Death cab for Paul"?? Hey, yer probably right. The BDB had lots of material & Death Cab is far from being their best song.... so why else would they do that song?

It's funny how the lyrics to that song would perfectly fit as a clue for the classic "Paul is dead" story:
The traffic lights changed from green to red They tried to stop but they both wound up dead (Death-cab for Cutie) (Death-cab for Cutie)

I have a question about Mystery Tour, specificly about the "I Am the Walrus" video. I address this to Sun king mostly, because he has done so much work on capturing frames from that movie. I'm refering to this of course: xoomer.virgilio.it/james_paul_mccartney/mmt_s_f_s.htmlI just went back and looked at this page. In the 14th picture (one after George in orange, the one in which you can read the words "Magical Mystery Boy" on the torso). Is it just me, or does the head on that torso look alarmingly like the one in the windshield of the death car? Great capture, I never noticed this before. Brie#nosmileys

Yes the Magical Mystery Boy thing is really spooky! It looks like a body on a coroner's guerney. While watching the video, I swear in the beginning of that shot, it looks like the MMB is wearing glasses, like John Lennon's. Perhaps it was John? After the video ends, everyone applauds, including Faul... I tell you, the more I watch it, the more I like this movie. So many hidden meanings.

I actually thought, just from looking at the still of MMB, that it looks as though his eyes were missing - as though they had been pecked out and we were looking into empty, bloodied sockets.

Tons of symbolism for those intelligent enough to "get" what the symbolism is communicating...that's MMT! The Beatles never talked down to their audience. They assume we are as sharp as they are..or, were.

The weird thing about these MMT clues especially the symbolic ones with the dwarf and such are that Faul went along with them. You'd think he wouldn't of agreed to it as he's probably the most concerned that the information didn't/doesn't get out. Unless he just did as he was told all the time or didnt realise the scene was symbolic of Pauls supposed death.
Also, I'd of thought that he wouldn't of wanted to include any clues in his solo work as that would be an even worse time to get found out.

Either that, or he was still toeing the line really closely.
