Hi All. I've just been reading your posts and the 60IF and a bunch of other stuff... and I can't say I'm surprised as I am disheartened by the boys in more ways than one - but that's another discussion.
I'm wondering if anyone has anything on LESO/Walrus other than the mention of it.
I'm wanting to know if the incident where John is saying "I am the walrus" at the body of Paul, was before or after MMT. Before, right?
So what's all this talk about "walrus?" I can see a deformed Paul looking like one... but why John's panic over himself being the "Walrus?"
One thing I came across is that "Surlaw" means "person of truth" in Sanskrit.
Comments? Insights? Thanks.

I think the LESO thing was about the race to get satillites in space. -which we all know is a gajillion $$$$$$$dollar business.
LESO= land earth station operator- military radio operation

I think LESO must refer to something else besides land earth station operator . . .
lclyde, googoo and Redford all need to reread the 60IF page, as none of characterized the particularly etymology of Walrus contianed within correctly and/or accurately.

jae -- I posted a while back about a LESO agency in the US DoD, but I'm not convinced that's the LESO in question, either.
Sun King claims there was a UK agency named LESO that scrubbed it's web presence after 60if was posted, but hasn't followed up on the claim . . .

WALRUS - SURLAW
Beside the sanskrit meaning, look at it phonetically:
SURLAW = "Sir Law"
William Sheppard was a LAW officer.
The WALRUS was Paul.
"Sir Law" became Paul.

I'm wanting to know if the incident where John is saying "I am the walrus" at the body of Paul, was before or after MMT. Before, right? Certainly - when the dead body was being viewed. Doesn't seem like panic to me, but a challenge made in anger. I can easily see this happening - the police & others looking at the body - one of them saying it looks like a walrus and another perhaps suggesting "walrus?" as a name for the case - they can be insensitive and do crap like that. John would've been clearly upset at that point and want to take on anyone making such a comment.

I.e., "I am the walrus, not him" - insult me.

Maybe in his grief John meant that he felt that what had happened to Paul might as well have happened to him too. Maybe he wished it had been him instead of Paul. Maybe he thought it was supposed to have been him instead of Paul. Maybe he already knew one day he would be murdered too... In that situation, I doubt he'd analytically be thinking "well, maybe I'm gonna be a walrus too...". This seems to me like a pure, gut reaction intended to take the insults instead and let the person making them suffer the consequences.
