At the end of the song you can faintly hear George singing(or weeping) "Paul, Paul, Paul, Paul...". Then towards the end a little more you can clearly hear Faul singing "Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah..."

Having George's book beside me, I can safely say the lines about the staged play were improvised off-hand, as they sound on the demo.
The real lyrics to the extra stanza, as copied from George's lyric sheet, are:
I look at the trouble and hate that is raging While my guitar gently weeps While I'm sitting here doing nothing but aging Still my guitar gently weeps.

After seeing the lyrics to this song pointed out on this thread, I realized a potential interpretation that relates to my hunch that by the end of 1967 Faul had joined an Illuminati-controlled secret society, most likely the Rosicrucian branch of the Freemasons. If George had found this out, or at least knew to some degree that Faul had been corrupted by someone, it would likely come out in one of his lyrics around 1968. My hunch is that the chorus lyrics in this song (highlighted in boldface) were specifically inspired by his knowledge that Faul had sold out to the Illuminati… I look at you all see the love there that's sleeping While my guitar gently weeps I look at the floor and I see it needs sweeping Still my guitar gently weeps I don't know why nobody told you how to unfold your love I don't know how someone controlled you They bought and sold you.
I look at the world and I notice it's turning While my guitar gently weeps With every mistake we must surely be learning Still my guitar gently weeps I don't know how you were diverted You were perverted too I don't know how you were inverted No one alerted you.
I look at you all see the love there that's sleeping While my guitar gently weeps Look at you all... Still my guitar gently weeps.Another George song from 1968, the unreleased “Sour Milk Sea” (written for Jackie Lomax, who released a version), contains a line that could be another intended Illuminati (Blue Meanie) reference. Here is the link to that thread: 60if.proboards21.com/index.cgi?board=60ifclues&action=display&thread=1069064373I have posted much on the idea that Faul had joined an Illuminati-controlled secret society by the end of 1967. Here’s a couple of links. The first is the thread with my alternate (to 60IF) theory, in which I go into extra detail about this on several posts. The second link is a discussion about the Red Rose Speedway album cover: “Paul hired a replacement in ’66 but died in ’73” 60if.proboards21.com/index.cgi?board=paul&action=display&thread=1063219993Page 3 of “Faul Evidence on Red Rose Speedway Album Cover” 60if.proboards21.com/index.cgi?board=60ifclues&thread=1059773129&action=display&start=30And here’s a link with a “smoking gun” (at least to people that know about the Illuminati) that Faul had definitely joined up with something Illuminati-related by April 1970: Page 2 of “The Walrus & The Circle Of Death” 60if.proboards21.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=document&thread=1059772461&start=15
