Why at that time they had to confirm to the people that Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band was The Beatles? Comments?

Possibly something to do with the totally different look of the LP, I would imagine. You can't automatically tell it's the Beatles at all.

For me it is like they are saying: "Maybe you'll find something strange but they're still The Beatles" Or something like that, I see it this way

My guess is that some promotional person at EMI was concerned that people wouldn't realize it was a Beatles album. Isn't that also why they made Faul change the name of his band from Wings to "Paul McCartney and Wings"? ReyAnthony: Perfect!

If I remember well Sgt Pepper's cover was the first where band name change from "The Beatles" to "Beatles"; if we consider this and the new look of the members it could be enough for that confirm.
