I don’t know if this has been pointed out on this forum before, but even if it has, the fact that I haven’t run across it yet leads me to post the following fact—a fact which could be the most important one needed to initiate the skeptical into open-mindedness about the existence of Faul!
It seems to me that many, many people of the more close-minded persuasion find it ridiculous that the clues are even in the albums, and dismiss the idea without ever investigating the information.
I have also found that people who realize the clues are there tend to be the only ones who are interested in exploring the mystery further.
Well, after reading much of this forum and doing some internet searches, I was shocked to realize how little-known the following fact is:
Eight years ago, Faul admitted that he and the Beatles intentionally put the “PID” clues in their music!!!
In the forward to the book The Walrus Was Paul, a 200-page book by Gary Patterson all about “PID,” Jay Fox, a DJ with the ABC Radio Network, recalls an interview with Faul in 1995:
I was truly surprised at how many people had never heard of this hoax. The calls kept coming, begging me to re-air the special. The next year I devoted two shows to this topic, and still the phone calls came. I found that once you hear the clues being laid out before you, it becomes impossible to deny that the Fab Four had something up their sleeves.
Then, on Thanksgiving Day 1995, Paul McCartney telephoned the network from his studio in London to thank America for its support for Anthology 1. It was during this conversation that, finally, something was admitted concerning the death clues. When talking about the “Free As A Bird” video, with all its references to other Beatles’ songs, he stated,
“We used to make a game of putting little clues in all our music back then…”
I couldn’t contain myself. I grabbed the phone and called Gary Patterson that very moment to let him know I had it on tape! Paul McCartney admitted it!
Since Mr. Fox doesn’t detail the full interview in his forward to the book, I don’t know the exact conversation surrounding that quote; we only have Fox telling us that Faul was specifically talking about death clues. But if we had the whole thing, this could potentially be an iron-clad whopper of a significant fact to help wake up the world to the reality of Faul…
Is there someone here who can find a recording, or at least a full transcript, of that interview?
